  • “Vous” is the first one that comes to mind in french. But since it is also a more formal (and/or “respectful”) version of “tu/toi”, it can both designate a group of people or a single person, depending on the context (just like “you” in English). Sometimes people will use “vous tous” (literally “you all”) to make this clear.

It is a little better than the “you” situation in English since if you are speaking with someone that is not using the singular form of “vous” to speak about you (which is basically anyone you are familiar with unless they are your boss or In-laws and kind of oldschool), it is instantly clear what they mean at least.

  • The “without an MS account” is the hard part. Don’t you have to basically use a hidden debug feature to actually do that on install in windows 11 ? And then if it’s anything like windows 10, they might trick you into tying the OS to your account if you log into it for visual studio/office/Windows store or whatever, that happened to me on my laptop and it was a major pain in the ass to revert

As a professional gamedev : good. Except if they aren’t tackling similar issues in online gambling (am at work so I didn’t read the article)

Edit : read the article, they basically only mention displaying the real money equivalent when buying “premium” currency, which is only the tip of the iceberg, but also pretty easy to legislate I guess.
