  • I think it’s about as much of a power fantasy as World War 3. There’s been many incidents and events in the past 9 years that all could’ve sparked a WW3 or a Civil War. But none has happened and it hasn’t escalated to that level.

The modern world is more complicated than the 1800s. To have a Civil War now, we’d have to have issues where members of our army, police force .etc enact on political bias moreso than just individual case handlings. We’d have to have politicians from either said outright declaring the other party of being so unamerican that they start drawing lines.

Stuff like that. I almost wish we’d have a Civil War so we can get out all of this dumb, pent up, boiling shit over with. But my hopes aren’t high.

  • No.

I’ve pointed this out on another account on this very community through KBin Social.

And I was talking about how lazy and entitled pirates across all ages have become overtime. That we were losing more and more sources that had withstood a long standing of time. And one moment everyone is going “RAH RAH! HYDRA! CUT ONE DOWN AND MORE COME UP!” but when we lose some of which that have yet to return or take it’s place, the attitude grows weak. Almost desperate.

And it’s due in part how most of the pirates just take and take, but never give back. On r/piracy and sometimes on here, people are making posts wondering where they can get free stuff and how they can get free stuff. They don’t care about the technicalities, they don’t care about the cause of piracy, they don’t care at all. It’s always “give me free shit, thanks, bye”. There are few pirates out there doing the work and it’s just so that these lazy and entitled pirates can just take and take.

But when we lose sources, they scatter away like cockroaches and all that they can think about is asking where it is that they can get free shit. It’s almost like consumerism but for free shit, it’s annoyingly disturbing. It’s not about wanting the new product, it’s about wanting the source to mooch off from.

I sadly predict in time that the whole hydra ideology will just simply become the way the Pirate Bay has become, just a symbol, but will it mean anything? It’ll be so if this whole trend continues and all generations are just as guilty to doing it.

  • Harris Wins.

MAGA throws a giant hissy fit, tries about three more coups, goes around intimidating election officials and offices to states that validated the election. Going to spend another 3 years arresting and jailing even more of these idiots until we have an even more prison population problem.

Trump declares once again that he didn’t lose, despite all the lies saying he’ll admit that he lost if it was fair.

Someone attempts to assassinate Harris during Inauguration. Someone attempts to assassinate Biden because they believe that if he doesn’t pass the torch to Harris, then it’ll prevent a Harris presidency.

Harris will presumably do a good job but like with nearly all Democratic presidents since Obama, the best that they’re good at in Modern-Day America is just temporary hold-over solutions but nothing groundbreaking that’ll last long-term.

Harris will probably be fighting with windbags leftover from GOP in Senate, House, Congress and Supreme Court because that’s how they’ve been. No different than Obama’s terms and Biden’s term.

And then we’ll spend 4 years basically just building up until the next shitty election.

  • Man, I’m still listening to an online show that hasn’t released anything new since 2012. But the episodes I’m listening to, since there’s different versions of the show based on different years of release. The episodes are now 20 years old and everytime listening to them back, it’s like opening a time capsule again.

It’s a very niche show called 2 Sense and it’s hosted by a couple furries. It’s a very acquired taste for sure and I won’t argue with anyone that some of it’s content have really aged like milk, but what there is to be found on there can be a bit entertaining.

It’s just a show I visit so frequently, it’s become white noise now because of how much I’ve listened to those episodes.
