Since Risk of Rain has been coop it would be nice if they were brought on to work on a new coop title, since I’m not always in the mood for pvp and the commitment it can require to stay ahead in order to not get stomped.

This reminds me of when Campo Santo (Firewatch dev studio) was bought by Valve so they could have more resources. Then they never made another game ever again. :b I’ve heard they’re cool with it, but who knows.
I wonder if it’s for something new or for something already in the works.

That’s pretty awesome. Well earned, I think. The risk of rain games were all splendid under their ownership, and only recently took a nosedive with gearbox fucking up a working machine.
