    My mom does laundry for something, I don’t remember the name, but if you want someone to do your laundry there’s an uber for laundry where they’ll come pick it up and drop it off folded. Skeevs me out but apparently it’s worth it to some

    I’m the Uber of commenters… I am privately funded, I seem like a serious waste of time, and there is no feasible path toward profitability for me.

      I wonder if Apple could leverage its AirTag network and their bluetooth funny business into a built in ride-sharing network or something and cannabinalize Uber

          I just mean I wonder if they could use the infrastructure + maybe iCloud/location etc and create a native taxi solution that undercuts Uber using Apple’s own networks. I don’t know enough about that, yeah, hadn’t really fleshed out the idea but they could do it without that

            Uber uses GPS/GLONASS/Galileo/whatever satellites that are publicly available. I’m pretty sure Apple’s AirTag stuff relies on those too.
