I see this meh-meh come up occasionally, and I’m always amused because designers are constantly looking at the competition and adjusting to suit. Why do you think all sebtites look the same?
Fuck, if I was doing ecommerce on salesforce commerce cloud, I would hate programing too. The plus side is that you have something on the resume now. That makes a huge difference in your job prospects now. Its not the hottest market, but you do have a way to pay the bills so you can take some time. Just start applying again, is my advice
A major aquisition is how apple launches a lot of stuff
Oh thanks. This is exactly what I was looking for.
What sells it for me is the mativation: end game you can use a calculoter to create the most efficient blueprint (or just watch nilaus). Hopefully this extends the time when you are designing a base rather than plopping prints
This new mechanic is going to add a ton of depth. I’m super excited.
Also, even without quality mechnics at all, recyclers will itroduce a nice qol bump.
I mean, to be open, I don’t actually see many consequences, so I don’t really do any particular things to protect privacy from like, google. I was sort of hoping someone here would give me one.
Show them the consequeces. You might scare a few people who are already anxious by showing data collected, but most people will be apathetic. Illustrate why its bad. Be systemic about it.
The stunt outlined elsewhere of texting someone with their info is good, but “we all know google isn’t going to threaten us” is the prevailing attitude. Demonstrate what google is going to do and how it hurts people individualy and directly. Until there are personal consequences, peopae won’t really care.
I’ve used privacy for a while now. I became devoted when a card I used at an independant business started being used to pay phone bills in new jersey; privacy auto blocked it. Since then, i’ve used it to kill subscriptions I don’t want by changing to a privacy card and setting the limit to zero. Its good stuff.
haskell is one of the mathematically founded functional languages, which is a whole family of loosely related languages that have seen lower uptake over the years. Other examples include ML and variants, and F#.
There are a few reasons why adoption has been slow:
Many of these are seeing some change. Haskell is getting better at outreach and comercial focus, and Rescript (ml for the web) has a lot of syntactical similarity to ja|ascript.
Maybe six months. I had a flip-top one for a few years, but I wanted a wide mouth
I don’t think I could ride a dct anyway. It feels like you would need superhuman throttle control. Maybe honda inveted some magic for that too?
Honastpy at this point you should turn them all ofi and set up a pi hole
Depending on the situation, you could maybe partially adopt. My team at work uses the package manager on macos
I did xfce for a long time and really enjoyed it. Then I did some hopping to try out tiling, and found paperwm. For me, its just a much better experiance for the way I work

I got consistent when I got a 5 year journal. Each page is one day, divided into five sections. Seeing that I would be revisiting it next year really helped motivate me, and reading previous years entries helps even more. Now I have several journals, and for the other ones, I either write in it when I do my 5 year, or I keep it open and jot in it all the time. The trick often is to just write something in it, and then its easier to keep going.
Also think about why you are journaling. Self reflection? Set an alarm. Memories? Read back in your old entries. Planning? Make it front and center so you look at it right away.
I don’t have the privacy concerns, so this other bit might not help as much, but I also use stuff thats pleasant to use. It does’t have to be luxury, but try going up a step. For paper, skip moleskin and look for a rhodia, leuchterm, or midori notebook. For pens, try a fountain pen like a platinum preppy, pilot kakuno, ot lamy safari. If you prefer ballpoint, skip the cheap ones ans get a Uni Signo gel pen or Pentel Energel gel pen. Having nicer stuff can really help motivate cause its nice to use.
The entire exeption, and the broader exclusionary rule, is based around the self-evidently incorrect assumption that what happens in court will effect behaviour of investigators.
