I’m curious as to why the community name is still in English, rather than something like “Gemeinschaftsförderung”.

Maybe at least now the discussions can happen there instead?
“52 weeks o’ fart”
He looks like he’s already had enough of our sh*t.
Nice to see some more writing communities on Lemmy. Not sure if I’ll have much to contribute, but if I do, I’ll know where to post it!
there is no post at all for the moment?
I currently see two posts. If you are the first user from your server to visit the community, you might need to subscribe to trigger federation, which could take a minute or two.
Welp, another comics community for me to sub to!
Why is autocompletion to an absolute link even still a thing? I thought Lemmy supports relative links now.
Not exclusively, but I do think twice before posting to a community hosted there, and actively seek out alternatives if possible. The only two I haven’t found alternatives for are c/crows and c/freecad.
I love the idea, but does it have to be on Lemmy World? That’s not very decentralized :)
If you’re looking for suggestions, I feel like dbzer0 might be a good fit.
Perhaps, but I’d rather have a good app with a bad thumbnail than the other way around.
Thanks, that’s awesome!
Great opportunity to promote a small topic-specific instance:
!harry_potter@diagonlemmy.social (for serious posts)
!leaky_cauldron@diagonlemmy.social (for memes and casual chat)
Translation: Are you sure?
Can you even tell which of my comments came from Lemmy.World, and which comments didn’t?
Yes. Yes we can.
Seems reasonable. I’m generally in favour of moving off LW.
Have you considered coordinating with the mods of the LW community to consolidate the communities?
@Burstar@sopuli.xyz @Crackhappy@lemmy.world @rjc@lemmy.world
I’m all for moving off LW. Would it be worth coordinating with each other to lock the LW community and redirect users to !tifu@sopuli.xyz?
In what way will this community be distinct from !tifu@lemmy.world?
I used dimensionality reduction to make it 2D
Huh, interesting. So is the idea to spread the data out as much an possible, while keeping “similar” communities near each other? What was the dimensionality of the original set?
Ah, thanks for these. I wasn’t sure where people went after fedditde shut down.
Thanks, good to know!
