I am a PM in biotech. Please let me know if you’d prefer scientists or engineers to manage people and projects.
Good decks haven’t changed in price for 40+ years. Decent wheels, trucks, and bearings about the same. Unless you want an artist to paint your board, you can get pretty top class gear for about $125. Source: crazy good kid that cares about his board.
I’m a PM in a different field (science stuff). If anyone asked me to present on behalf of the science team, I would say no. It’s their work. Managing a team and timelines and budget does not mean I do the work. I think this is why when job searching I get a lot of interviews with dev and other tech. They just want competent managers. Some of them, anyway.
Welcome to the list. For the username, not the comment.
Battle toads can eat a schlong. Actually good games like kid icarus, etc were just as hard but actually fun to play.
In a way, I understand. There are no rules. I do think there is a good chance that living out that idea in any or every aspect of life can be very damaging. My motto is everything in moderation, including moderation.
No. There is just no way it is the last copy so often. Also, there is no reason to do that. Laminate a card with all the box info. Keep unboxed, sealed copies behind the counter. Voila! With about 5 minutes of work I’ve just solved the entire problem!
And now I will be browsing through 7000 retro games today.
I was raised without religion, but read religious texts. I have always wanted to touch my closest peoples feet or wash them. It seems so humble and real.
Have to agree with that, as I’m either hosting or presenting.
I talk to the C suite and lab staff regularly, sometimes, you can’t duck out of front the muckity mucks, sometimes you can’t leave a conversation with researchers and partners. But, I’m frequently the one who say, we’re 5 minutes from close, 2 minutes from the end of our time, ok, we’re going to have to drop off. With either.
Those didn’t happen. Go back to the animated movies.
That. Is a deep cut, and yes.
I’ll have what soulre4er is having.
Arm bands. I probably read or watched too much fantasy as a kid. For a while I braided leather arm bands and wore them. Mostly they were covered by whatever I was wearing. Then all the Brohs started getting arm band tattoos and it killed it for me. I recently said fuck it, and have a pounded metal arm band and I love it!
Now kithhh
They are everywhere. I’ve seen more Futurama memes than is healthy.
I’m old. I can use stone age computers. The real barrier is the language. If you can’t explain things to me (that knows how to do shit) in terms I’ve heard before, basically nobody outside of power user, niche users, or software engineers will ever try an OS that you have to learn a new language for just to ask a question. Thank you, that is my longest run-on sentence, and I’m a scientist.
By that measure, you’ve never met an Akita.
