Yeah, Star Citizen is the world’s most expensive tech demo, that is the picture book definition of scope creep. It’ll just keep getting more and more complicated, but never get to any kind of a “complete game” state.

Transparency? Disgusting. I should be free to abuse my powers without peasants knowing, it’s my god given right!
Yep. Been waiting years for this to happen, but Rockstar has done enough shit I hate, that I’m not planning on giving them any more money.
Yeah, perhaps because advertisements go against the values that users look for in your browser?
Seriously. I don’t mind it as a platform for socialising, but it’s terrible as a support platform, and it goes against the idea of open and accessible information.
I don’t know, but every fucking group’s reliance on Discord pisses me off. I’m very much into modding my games, the problem is that every damn mod author wants to do support only on Discord, which means probably more than half of my 200 servers are just for that.
I think they looked better before they got sent off and painted, really just needed some weathering.
Not sure since I only ever play with one person, but I’d love to work on one base together with multiple people, with everyone working on their specialities. For example, I have a basic knowledge of most popular tech mods, but I find some of them pretty tedious, so if there were someone who enjoyed them, that’d be great.
It has definitely gotten better, but it’s still several minutes, compared to the minute or less for Fabric.
Ha, at least you can get your friend group to play modded MC. When we play it’s usually just the two of us, because our friends don’t wanna deal with all the mods. Sometimes one of them will end up joining, usually by which point I’ve got Applied Energistics setup, which I offer them access to, since at least then they could start their own mod setup more easily.
My partner and I started playing another modded MC game last night. I always do all the tech mods, automation, digital storage, and building, and she does the magic, farming and husbandry.
We’d been using Fabric for quite a while but since I felt a longing for Mekanism, we decided to make it Forge. It’s not ideal since it isn’t necessarily as performant, and the loading times are a lot longer than Fabric, I just really wanted the convenience that Mekanism offers. Hopefully, more mods and modpacks will switch over to NeoForge.
One of my favourite games to play with friends, especially if you get into character and drink some rum lol. I definitely play it mainly for the PVE, which I find relaxing.
What does “4k graphics” even mean? Did you just install 4k textures for everything or what? Either way, you can get modded Skyrim to look very beautiful, without being insanely demanding. I guess it depends on your resolution, but a 4070 should be able to manage it just fine, so I’m not sure what you did.
I had the orange box when it came out, so HL2 is very nostalgic for me, it was one of the first PC games I played, and completed. I still need to continue my playthrough of HL2 VR.
Can’t say I’ve heard of steam being unable to uninstall games before.
Ideal phone size according to major smartphone brands.
Are you a giraffe?
It does look very similar doesn’t it? Not even sure if the font Minecraft uses was made by Mojang, or if they’re just using an existing one.
Aniwave is very unfortunate, it was the best for streaming anime. Haven’t heard of the others though.
I think it’s still a very real issue, even if it’s less of one than it used to be. I haven’t seen any phones or monitors with burn-in in person, but the only OLED monitor I see on a regular basis is my own, and phone screens pose less risk of burn-in in general, since they’re not getting used continuously for 8+ hours a day, nearly every day.
