I’ve settled on btrfs a year ago and I’m happy with it. I like the compression and async trim.

Any distro that uses apt. I’m ok with Fedora and Arch.

Idk about bash but at least in fish I can do alt + arrows to move the cursor by word, also alt + backspace works to delete whole words.

Btrfs, because of compression. And I’ve never had any issues with it.

H.265. The file size difference is impressive, and without a noticeable loss of quality, if any.

Yeah, it’s fun being part of a smaller community.

If I have a nice FOSS alternative that will fulfill my needs, then I will always prioritize FOSS. If not, then I pirate the proprietary option.
