Calling Stardew unfinished is hilarious.
Calling Stardew unfinished is hilarious.
Yeah that’s the one. I got so much music from that site.
Ah, if only I could read more than one sentence at a time…
Keep in mind that a large portion of players don’t have it installed on Steam and use the Battle.net launcher instead (like me).
But that would cost them hundreds of dollars!
Oh true, the partially delivered PvE content that was canceled almost immediately after releasing after a year delay.
Yeah I realize that looks dumb now. I was thinking of microtransactions that affect gameplay. You know, the important kind.
My argument is don’t buy them. It’s really that simple.
I believe new players also have all the characters unlocked immediately.
I did. You also had to pay $40 to play the game though.
There is not anymore. All characters are unlocked for free.
They’re not essential to playing the game. Just don’t buy them.
What macrotransactions? The game is free and the only this that’s monetized is cosmetics.
What streamers were playing were two different builds from separate betas that ran for about a month each.
I played for a bit during the beta a few months ago (before the third race was in the game) and it was quite fun but clearly very far from finished. It should be in a better state when early access starts in a couple weeks, but I’m sure there will still be many rough edges.
Oh. Yeah fuck this guy.
This is Kumail Nanjiani’s best work.
I would call it a complete game that was finished a long time ago but has a passionate developer who provides free content updates. It’s definitely not a live service game, as there are no microtransactions and the updates are free.
