Not sure if that’s a quirk of your particular laptop but I’ve been using a thunderbolt to dual displayport adapter for years and it works great out of one port to drive a pair of 240hz 1440p displays.

Are you asking me why is paint the way it is? I don’t know, take it up with nature, but stop spreading misinformation.
Red/yellow/blue are the primary colors for paints (as distinct from dyes/pigments, that’s CMY(k) and as distinct from light, that’s RGB).
I believe it isn’t even easier to use a private DNS or VPN what it’s supposed to be legal on Apple devices.
You’re entitled to your POV but Apple devices (including an Apple TV) can all use private DNS servers. I don’t run a private VPN so I can’t attest to that but of course MacOS can run normal VPN software and custom VPNs. Where are you coming from with this?
They should have done this to start, it was a pretty arrogant product launch. It hit at a good moment for VR gaming but added another walled garden right when people were looking to alternatives to Facebook.
The electric company is clearly complicit.
Who are you who is so wise in the ways of the content of the article?
I had a genuine Apple leather case for an iPhone XS that I got maybe two years ago on step discount. I expected it to age nicely but it just got weird bumps and pocks on the edges.
I appreciate your comment because I’ve been sitting in getting the desktop (macOS) app, but the sale helps lots! Thank you!
I am not sure if I’m understanding your question but thus far I’ve used the (paid) ios app and the free desktop sharing app, but I they have a desktop app that connects computer to computer that I don’t have yet (referred to above).
Unsure what the other user is running but I’ve used my iPad Pro + MK as a Remote Desktop for my PC and my Mac (I’m traveling now and left the PC at home and I’ve been using it remotely Ike the iPad was a windows laptop); I’m using the Microsoft Remote Desktop app and (my personal favorite, no sponsorship 😃) Jump desktop app to do it. I have a regular cursor in Windows and macOS
I find it pretty useful on the iPad, it basically adds an extra window UI element on the bottom corner of every window that you can use to rescale the window to some different sizes. Adding a few windows together has been useful for workflow sometimes, and it’s been useful when apps that aren’t optimized for the iPad are running because their little windows are floating along with other windows instead of in a big black void. I think I turned it on a few months ago and haven’t really had any reason to switch back (I like being able to see my desktop background too).
I like it when I’m screen sharing, and I use it on my iPad but it’s otherwise kinda limited imo
It’s kind of like how I realized that the item that’s called a “hoverboard” that 100% is not a hoverboard is just going to be what “hoverboard” is until we get an actual hovering board, if that’s ever possible.
This honestly sounds kinda pathetic, I hope you’re arguing just to argue.
This argument does exist, yes, but you as a user have an obligation to be more than a mindless consumer. You can make informed choices also. Many people (maybe not a majority, granted) do
Exceptionally flexible working hours (so I don’t have to go in or leave during rush hour) along with an exceptional increase in pay and a commitment that time in office would actually be used for productive time (any meetings can be done remotely and often are done with remote members anyway).
Actually, as I think about it, the only thing that would lure me back to the office would be an open door policy related to being there, where I’d see myself there maybe 5% of the time. shrug
Solid advice, thanks. I think I’d best be able to help out on react (maybe native) or web apps, or the iOS space since I don’t have a daily driver android device (but if I did I’d jerboa looks fun) but I can help with UX on any platform
I’m pretty familiar with Material. Wondering how (specifically) I can help. I’ve used and followed some open source projects but I’ve never contributed.
Same. We should form a collective lol. (I have some dev experience also)
had one as a kid, it was terrible even by kid standards. I used to pretend to be a cyborg cop with it and my gray light gun though.
