I fucking love Saddam Hussein’s Hiding Place.
You really never know where it will pop up next.
woah holy shit a bio?

Patent rights? You gotta be kidding me. The hell did they patent? Throwing a ball?
I’ll tell you, I had a mild panic attack when I upgraded my 3700x to a 5900x and the AIO cooler said it went up 14C at rest. Zen 3 is a beast with power consumption and heat loss.
As long as it stays under 95, you’re technically safe.
Heh. You’ll learn pretty quick what you can, can’t do. The ghost people (the haunted things I mentioned) cant be killed unless dismembered. It’s also a constant health drain rate in the Cloud regardless of resistance (it’s corrosive, not poison)
This whole DLC is a nightmare. With those damn haunted things popping out of the fog. I don’t even remember if the hazmat suit protects you from it that much either.
Sure, but, technically, without Gacha games I would t have discovered my ex wife sexting another dude. Because she was attempting to hide the money she spent in credit cards I didn’t have access to, then wanted me to pay.
Which led me to digging around, discovering the unaltered statement, then she got drunk and the phone was open in her hand playing some stupid virtual bingo and a snap popped up and wouldnt you know it
Ok haven’t heard of that I’ll look it up
Is it still kicking? I didn’t have a lot of success with it in the past, I’ll give it another shot
I love my PS5.
But I also just got a Ryzen 9 5900x for $300 off, I have a RTX 2070 Super. My PS5 can play games with HDR at 4k at 30fps. Big ol 65" screen. With the Ryzen 7 3700x I could get like 70 FPS on cyberpunk 2077 on my 2k monitor 27" screen, no HDR with DLSS3 enabled.
The processor upgrade alone was an huge boost to game quality for $250. Since I now don’t have to replace all my internals to utilize an RTX 4080 Super, I’m getting one of those.
The RTX 4080 Super has an HDMI 2.1 port, so I can use VRR on my TV and enjoy the 120hz smooth frame rate.
The PS5 pro is essentially the same as the PS4 Pro was the last generation. It you have a PS5, you won’t notice a huge difference.
Bro, you might be onto something. The 4080 Super uses PCIe-4.0 which my motherboard has so no problems there.
But a 5700x3d doesn’t have nearly the jump in performance id expect for throwing in a new $310 CPU.
NOW that being said, you made me look at socket AM4 CPUs and I can get a new Ryzen 9 5900x for $280, AND get the boost I want
Actually, you bring up a question that has been bugging me lately.
How do you calculate where a potential bottleneck will be?
My setup is a X570, 32GB DDR4, Ryzen 7 3700x, RTX 2070 Super, and gazillions of TB of storage on stuff don’t worry about it.
Right now, I can max the GPU no problem. CPU is getting there depending on what I play. RAM I have no idea how it affects game performance just everything else I do.
Is there a formula? Can I just upgrade to a 4080 Ti Super if it fits in my case and power supply? Or do I need to spend the extra 1500 updating everything else
I was literally looking at playing again with the Sailing announcement
Now it’s… No. I remember $5 back in the day and that was awesome.
Ryzen 7 3700X, but I’ll make the jump to a Ryzen 9 9950x anyway (I’ve been Intel free for 20 years ) so it’s a new MOBO and ddr5 for me anyway.
Our man-hours come from leadership and architects so separated from code they can’t agree on drawings or what constitutes a micro service architecture or… Any real pattern at all.
Something I don’t get paid enough to understand - what constitutes contributions, and what’s the definition of selling the software?
For instance, I don’t think I’ve worked on a project where we have made changes to the source code for security policies (much quicker path to update immediately if something gets flagged). But I don’t think I know of an instance where we sell our software as a service - as far as I know it’s largely used to support other services we sell.
Except now that I say that, that’s not entirely true, we DO have a review board that we have to submit every third party library to and it takes forever to hear back but we have occasionally gotten a “no can’t use that” or “contract is pending.” So maybe I’m just super unaware of who reviews the third party software and they review the licenses.
I’m waiting at this point to upgrade my 2070 Super.
I’m not excited about the potential price difference though
Yes

Ooooo and it’s on sale.
Oh that’s easy.
