There are purposes for it, but with the power it would use for basic tasks, I think it is better recycled.

Check your keyboard layout. Perhaps add whatever language keyboard you are looking to use the characters from? In my case, I couldn’t find a Welsh keyboard but the UK English keyboard has keystrokes for characters like ŵ. That could potentially be an option.

My initial experience with Linux was without systemD and I didn’t like it when Debian switched to it. Void is comfy enough.

The only thing I need on Windows is the Adobe suite for my uni graphic design stuff. I could use GIMP, darktable, Krita, etc, but my lectures teach us how things work on the Adobe suite. I use FOSS when it is for personal stuff though.
I have a 2048 clone from F-Droid and a Solitaire-like games collection from F-Droid that keep me busy on flights, etc. No stress, easy, entertaining.
