Switzerland doesn’t have the same sheet weight Brazil has.
And it probably doesn’t wants to ruffle big US tech companies with so many having their big European HQs in Zurich.

Such a tragedy. And that was a game that just needed a tech upgrade, expand a bit, more of the same, nothing crazy.
“Very good” is an understatement for The Bear.
And recent seasons just keep stacking up the talent.
Post-WWII put propaganda/advertising to the next level. Social media turned that to 11.
Neo Nazis didn’t get The Dead Kennedys (a very left-leaning hardcore punk band). It motivated them to write a song titled “Nazi punks fuck off” (the lyrics just repeat the song’s title aggressively) in an attempt to pass the message into their thick, mostly empty skulls.
$80? More like $50 but your point stands.
Or my colleagues trying to fill every possible slot in my daily schedule.
Sadly the lines don’t disappear when filled :-(.
Because they fumbled it all so badly at every opportunity. Shady studio takeovers, disastrous launch, mismatched price…
What a damn shame
Same. The most recent time I bought a plastic bottle was on a recent holiday for a week-long car trip away from home in a country where tap water was not drinkable. I was happy to see they had big 10-liter bottles in the shop so I could refill my reusable water bottle during the whole trip.
Same. Thanks for my free copy of Control Sweeney but if I want to buy something it’s either GOG or Steam.
I was hoping for a Director’s Cut where it would make sense. Nope.
Old trailers were either enigmatic and gave you the vibe of the movie or would just show you “hey, here’s all what this movie is about” and go over each major plot point.
The twist is Shyamalan making a good movie again!
I’ve stopped watching them altogether. I want to be surprised by the production design of the movie, the plot, the key moments marketing loves to spoil and so on.
I will read up on what people comment on the trailer but that’s it. It’s so much better to jump in fresh
Sony was leading with those and that seemed to have caved in.
Smells like stock-price-driven short-term decisions.
You’ve described the AA/indie scene which took the chunk of the market big publishers abandoned including whole genres of games.
The problem is investors saw the line go way up, passing even Hollywood so to keep it riding forever they apply Hollywood-sized solutions.
Except you can’t just shuffle live services a few weeks around another so you can milk the box office. They want us to spend all our time in their game services so people will pick one game for a time so they are cannibalizing each other and eroding trust as games fail and abandon the players that did buy into them.
Hunt for Red October. The book is great and for it’s time had done amazing insight into modern naval warfare but the movie irons out a bunch of this which are a bit lame.
The Akula that kills itself with its own torpedo simply blows up because it abused its engine and another sunk when the titular sub rams into it.
The titular sub is later returned to the USSR.
The movie changes those and a few other things for a more exciting and satisfying outcome.
Heinlein not PKD.
I don’t know, the first one was cobbled up together from early access by programmers at a marketing firm and while janky (part of the charm some would say), it was quite an achievement.
The approach which should have delivered better results was wrecked with takeovers and company drama then dumped to the public in a bad state.
