But I think the newer distros in the past few years that are basically good to go after install, and feature application stores linked to reputable repos, etc, are the way forward. This takes a lot of the confusion and, frankly, fear out of attempting to use Linux for your average user.

As others mentioned, it seems like the clipboard monitor for phone numbers has crashed. I can’t speak to Vivo as a brand but usually this is not nefarious just a QoL feature to allow pasting into a dialer or dial directly from clipboard pop-up when it is copied.

This is why the legality of pirating a movie you already own on Blu-ray is morally correct but legally wrong, because your license only grants you that one disc, in that one format.

Honestly when it drops to $150 or so, I’m in. Mostly for these same reasons. I use the PS5 on the good TV, but if I wanna be in the room with my partner while they watch a trash reality show, and keep working on my game, this is perfect. At $200, I’ll stick with remote play on Android and a Bluetooth controller, but the Portal seems better for this use case. So when the price is low enough… Sure.
