That’s the big thing. After my postive experience with the Steam Deck, I switched my gaming PC to Linux. There were settings I had to tinker with to get my games running as optimally as they would on the deck, that I assume are set by default on the SteamOS.

What i did with Skyrim was setting the update option in steam to only update when i launch the game. But then only launch the game with the script extender.
I’ve been on Endeavor for close to 2 years now. It’s been great.
Thinking of that playback menu brings back some good memories that i haven’t thought about in a while.
Gaming in Arch Linux through Steam has been incredibly smooth for me.
