I like building things and being alone and woodworking is my go to activity. It involves working with and learning about wood and tools to work with wood, project management for more complex projects, tons of spatial thinking, drawing, research, prototyping. I spend a large amount of time drawing.
When I see stuff like this I just never go back there again. I don’t give a shit what celebrities do or say. Make good movie. Be good actor.
I’m a boomerang. Reddit has the content, but it’s largely focused on the larger subs which are the ones I want to avoid. I’ll have to decide whether or not I want to run into obvious tankies (mayo) or try to spot misinformation campaigns (reddit).
And reddit is getting worse in every way. Reddit wants to turn into an ad platform and that’s the way things are going. Lot’s more locked comments and posts, totally unchecked misinformation and dooming.
On iOS through firefox the google login prompt can’t be closed. This is what prompted me back, I started using Voyager again.
I might come back and search for another home server, create a new account and delete my old one. Start fresh.
I haven’t found a place in my life for these types of TV series. Looks good though just prefer the complete arc of a movie or a mini-series.
Sets look kind of big budget artificial, soapy? Like that is some wicked blue dye on the suits, very fresh. Lovely hair and makeup. All good though I realize it’s just not my thing. A cinematic 90 minute fallout movie laser focused on 2-3 character arcs would be exciting to me.
I use it for marketplace though it’s not my favourite. More tire-kickers and scammers on FB than craigslist.
I think my friends who use social media still use messenger for group chats.

Playing Last of us 2 while I’m in the middle game of covid.
I’m replaying it right now on Survivor. Great game but so grim. I can’t do long play sessions because I find it too taxing. It’s extremely polished so you can play it at any difficulty level and it works well.
I’m here now because I want to find another game to play alongside or after that isn’t so heavy.

I have a switch lite. It costs me $140CDN used (as opposed to $250-$300 for an OLED). No complaints. Just wish I could play games like RDR2, Ubisoft on it.
oh right. I guess generated content is a lot for common now than it used to be. I’m also not a fan. Map design suffers for it.
Handheld gaming is on average more fun than console or PC gaming.
The english dub in BOTW is distractingly bad because it wasn’t written for english. The characters saying ridiculous things sounds better when it’s in Japanese, and most of the time with Nintendo games it doesn’t even matter what they are saying it’s just sound.
Oof. How are you managing? I’m in Canada and I’m finding inflation/wages to be incredibly stressful. 10 consecutive interest rates raises. Groceries up 20-40%. Cost of housing has doubled. Electricity + water is still dirt cheap though. Video games are way too expensive for me, library or bust.
Not bad, not great. I buy my veggies from a grocery that specializes in that, it’s much cheaper and less plastic. No yogurt? No solid/brick cheese? No nuts and dried fruit? No canned beans or dried beans? Peanut butter?
What you really need is a $/portion table to see what’s actually expensive here.
I think the muffins tip you over the edge into junk food land. They are very empty and basically the same as the rolls, the kraft dinner, and whatever is in the red box. A fair bit of this stuff is basically sugar and bread.
