seen a lot of games with native linux ports, always need to use proton because usually the native ones won’t even launch successfully. the only one that works almost 100%, golf with your friends.
samba. share a folder on pc, and on your phone use a file manager that can access smb folders in your local network, then just copy or move from or to that folder. bit of a hassle to set up the first time, but makes things more convenient in the long run.
i have used the MAS script probably 20+ times. for my family, friends, also my own computers and virtual machine back when i still used windows. no complaints with it, 100% safe.
awesome, thanks stranger! i’ve been too lazy to make these in redirector
or change reddit to safereddit
because it’s chrome
the worse windows gets, the funnier it is to me
it’s missing hannah montana linux :(
have you tried the 32 bit version? i noticed the 64 bit can’t load plugins
installed foobar2000 with wine. nothing can ever beat it. and i has to have dolby headphone.
my mom taught me how to pirate almost 20 years ago
changing reddit.com to safereddit.com works
i have tried fedora 37, 38 and 39 on my rig with 3060ti and couldn’t even run the live os. doubt 40 would work either. nobara works but it’s too buggy for a daily driver and people keep unrecommending it anyway.
i have 3060ti too and the only distro that works perfectly is mint, and nvidia driver version 535
it won’t load anything. not the front page, no search results, nothing. i recall trying like half a year ago too, and with similar results.
stealth doesn’t work at all, it just says something went wrong.
cool version number but i’m still hoping to get it to keep the system from suspending while transfering files in LAN. then i could finally set my pc to sleep after 15 min inactivity even when i’m watching something on another pc, and not waste electricity 24/7. i mean come on, even stupid windows can do that. please samba devs!
when i decided to dump windows, i tried lots of distros. most would refuse to install or even boot to live, and the ones that do install successfully have issues with nvidia. like parts of the screen going unresponsive, constantly reverting to 60 hz, and just completely crashing. ubuntu does all three, fedora won’t even install, arch distros can’t find any of my sound devices. but mint works. no nvidia issues, no crashing, all devices work, refresh rate stays at 120. that’s some damn good duct tape.
try disabling or enabling hardware acceleration. i think its in the vivaldi:flags page. also did you install flatpak version? you could try and download the .deb from their website and install that to see if they are any different. i was a vivaldi user too but ended up ditching it because of some bugs in the linux version.
