If you ordered a cookie and didn’t get what you want, that sucks and is indeed frustrating.
However I don’t know what that has to do with anyone else. If someone wants to eat an almost raw cookie, or a too soft cookie or whatever, I don’t think that should bother you.
I definitely prefer not paying $700 for an incremental upgrade.
Can someone ELI5 how searx works and if it’s worth the hassle of hosting? I’m privacy conscious but not paranoid.
When you’re a star, they let you do it.
I wonder if this is kind of how the Balatro dev feels
Did someone make paid horse armor yet? Lol
Grow up
Not at all, take a deep breath and start assuming best intent or you’ll stress yourself out.
Are you OK, son? Nobody said all that.
For people that may be confused or possibly surprised, although MV3 is a shitty Google thing, Firefox should still implement widely used APIs so developers can still write code once that works on (most) any browser. Having to write a “Firefox specific” Web app or extension would cause friction and limit adoption.
If you read this comic and the first thing you’re concerned* about is how men feel, you’re part of the problem.
Of all the reasons to be like “Windows bad, Linux good!” This one doesn’t really hit.
Of all the actual differences, this is the one people think makes Linux superior? This is just a circle jerk lol.
I’m sure there are cases where someone is spending money they shouldn’t, or they know better, but we have to acknowledge that a lot of tactics used are the same predatory strategies that take advantage of human addiction. I don’t think people should gamble, or bet on sports but that shit is everywhere, and it’s normalized. It’s no wonder why so many people fall into it because they don’t think it’s dangerous.
We can scream at people and tell them to stop, but that’s not a real solution, at least I don’t see how that really works. A predatory studio puts out a game that people want to play, then if it fails because people don’t buy enough, they just shut everything down and cancel the content, even when people want it. I think there examples of this happening now.
I don’t know why you’re being down voted for being informative. Nintendo are a notorious bunch of greedy dicks and they do go out of their way to shut down anyone possibly enjoying stuff they no longer support.
I know this is a joke but for anyone reading: Linux has many advantages and is great but is NOT immune to viruses or exploits.
Each day the US doesn’t have a GDPR equivalent, it strays further from the light.
Very informative, I think people will learn from what you’re saying, but it doesn’t really matter to what I’m saying.
Yes, absolutely, consider the human element in your data encryption and protection schemes and implementations.
Beating someone with a pipe is a joke, but not really defeating an algorithm.
I appreciate the explaination, that’s a cool scheme, but what I saying is the human leaking the key is not the fault of the algorithm.
Everyone and everything is, on a very pedantic level, weak to getting their ass beat lol
That doesn’t make it crypt analysis
I understand your take and mostly agree with you. I just want to emphasize I’m not trying to call anyone a dummy or anything, just that it’s OK to like what you like.
If companies aren’t going to cater to you, yeah that’s annoying in most scenarios.
