AFAIK macOS doesn’t care if you add another partition in diskutil and install Linux on that through the usual live ISO’s. But please make sure you:

• Don’t delete your main OS (make a Backup!)
• Install Linux with (U)EFI compatibility
• Don’t touch any recovery partitions
  • Don’t mess with the Mac’s EFI/ESP partition

Really great software. Works like a charm most of the time, the apps are quite okay, sends files locally. The first low-barrier solution to share stuff between wildly different devices since e-mail.

Did you try Adobe InDesign, and how did it fail you? I believe it’s the absolute industry standard for doing any layout stuff, which creating presentations essentially is.

I’m a bit confused why you’re using NTFS on Linux, as there are a multitude of alternative options on file systems for Linux.

Nevertheless. You could try one of the following:

1. Try using a virtual Windows environment such als Parallels or VirtualBox or qemu to boot up a Windows installation and copy/edit your files from there.
2. If the requirement for NTFS is not mission critical, reformat your drives to exFAT, which is very well supported across Linux, Windos, macOS, and iOS/iPadOS. It should meet all your requirements

Libertinus Serif (much nicer Times New Roman-ish serif text font. Huge amount of glyphs, open source font license, great to read on display and on print)

Lato (Sans font which imo compliments Libertinus Serif really good. More for short texts, headlines etc. I wouldn’t recommend it as a UI font. Also permissive font license.)
