8BitDo Pro 2. It’s like a Playstation 2/3 and SNES controller did the fusion dance. I use it on my Switch and PC, response is great, tactile feel is amazing.
Palia has crossplay between PC and Switch. It’s not your average game but has a great community.
The phrase “AAA game/developer” has lost all meaning for me over the years. I just can’t drop the clichéd $60+ on these titles anymore, especially with quality and support waning. I don’t see this game being any different; the writing’s on the wall.
Use the Support menu?
Imagine posing for a picture and stopping the photographer to say “wait a sec, I gotta light this cigar so I look like a bad ass”.
Wurm Online/Unlimited
Rocky’s Boots on Apple II. It was an educational logic game using logic gates to complete puzzles.
I saw Ubisoft in the title and realized I don’t care. It could be duodecillion-A and I still wouldn’t give a flying fuck.
When NTSCworld?
I started playing Minecraft Oct. 2010, and despite what you think, it wasn’t a “grown up game” and a LOT of kids played back then as they do today.
Meanwhile, if you don’t like the state of affairs in gaming, make your own game or help someone make one, but don’t come here with a shitty attitude that nothing meets your expectations. Be the change you want to see.
FICSIT Productivity Packer Deluxe (Satisfactory). It’s a fun little game available at The HUB once it is fully upgraded. You take Tetris-like pieces and arrange them to fit within a square, completing as many squares as you can within the time limit to determine your score.
Then again, the real mini game in Satisfactory is the planning that goes into your factory while you are not playing the game. It’s the game that just keeps on giving.
Don’t quit your day job.
You know when you tell a joke the first time and it didn’t land and no one laughed? Telling it again and again isn’t going to make it any better.
When in doubt, don’t.
John Smedley is a piece of shit. Thanks for ruining multiple MMOs and staining the wonderful memories I shared with so many other adventurers.
I’d get Shadow of War, but after the shitshow that was Hogwarts Legacy, WB won’t get a single red cent from me. I still haven’t finished that fucking game because of graphical issues, numerous bugs/glitches I found and reported AND still haven’t been fixed, and a 65% corrupted game save file (that was the icing on the cake). It literally ruined the lore and magic of HP for me.
That being said: Shadow of Mordor was amazing. The Nemesis system is such a beautiful thing, it’s a shame they literally copyrighted it so that other devs (and probably other titles) couldn’t use it. I wish I was making this shit up.
There was no “WoW-killer”; WoW killed MMORPGs.
Sir, this is a Wendy’s.
Agreed, as they weren’t going to survive with their overpriced cosmetic shop being the only source of income. I will admit, I’m a bit worried with Daybreak picking it up, as they have a track record of ruining/killing games (personal experience), but I’m really hoping my feelings are misplaced.
