Can’t really remember right now. I think it was a thread on which phone to buy and people were talking about graphene os on pixels.
Someone commented something along the lines of “m’lady” but with Daniel Micay’s name as a pun

Methinks it might be engagement bait
This might be one of the worse infographics I’ve ever laid my eyes on
It gets people going, (Daniel) 'Mkay?
I stole this from another lemmy comment, please don’t come after me
How much vram does alyx need? Wtf
Heck yeah, vectorised libre memes ftw!
Fair enough. My only gripe was with that umbrella statement. You are right that with these perpetually online SaaS companies, one must carefully assess their threat models
Good lord, this is a top tier meme!
Do you also use the same argument for libre software?
I’m not so sure. I talked to some people who knew about threads, a couple even had accounts. These are not tech oriented people. Moreover, I quite often see memes/screenshots of bluesky posts right here.
Make of that what you will. I have no numbers or anything, but it seems like they’re not as dead as we might think.
So the same comment twice?
Oh that’s a shame. I used that website a lot to find active communities across instances
Please do not resist, it’s for your own safety.
If your OS allows, maybe restricting its network access could be an idea
Before insinuating such stuff maybe it’d be better to be sure. I haven’t looked at the implementation so I’d refrain from commenting on the privacy of it, but a priori I’d be inclined to trust Mozilla
I personally won’t be using this but it seems to be a welcome change for the so called normies coming from Chrome
In the aeroplane over the sea, what a fantastic album. It’s one of my favourites of all time.
It’s not just about the verification/reproducibility, these random ass .deb files sometimes don’t have proper dependency information and/or repository support. So it may work for now and might stop working on the future when some library upgrades on your system. Or even worse, they may fucking block system library upgrades leaving you insecure at worst and out of support at best.
I want more from this guy!
Damn. Wow, it seems like Mozilla is getting more fired up lately. They are also actively communicating (recent couple of AMAs) and listening to their users (through Mozilla connect and working on much requested features)!
Holy borrow checker
