It takes some getting used to. And maybe looping games isn’t everyone’s cup of tea(e.g. Majora’s mask).
But the exploration, the knowlesge based progression, the cleverness of the story, and its delivery is absolutely brilliant.

I liked it. Unfortunately aside from valve, no serious studio has put any resources into making a good vr game.
Sitting games could be big on vr. Flight/space sims could be awesome.
Don’t disagree but surely it’s not impossible to add some regulations to protect the consumers here.
I’m hoping more people reply to this than one person. The whole thread only lists slay the spire and balatro.
QA could use some unionizing across the software/game industry imo.
It’s amazing how buggy websites of billion dollar companies are. They either don’t have a QA team or don’t prioritize any of the bugs they file. If I were still in that field I’d probably team up with some litigious ADA lawyers.
Harvards cs50 I believe has"the missing lecture" that talks about deployments and other activities surrounding programming.
If you want to learn how to make web apps you want to make sure the course includes deployments. Or get a specific course on the cloud platform you want to learn.
Fantastic game. So we’ll written, designed, and artistically styled. I was blown away.
The front end ecosystem is a bit out of control, but the issue isn’t JavaScript. Nearly every site uses it and people don’t notice.
Business are making intentional design decisions that lead to what we see here.
Wow, that’s news to me. I didn’t realize it had gone so far in some places.
Who uses bad Internet intentionally? I’ve been waiting 20 years for a different service.
Whatsapp is just a text service that gained popularity because it bypassed expensive text messaging rates, and it’s superior to SMS in most ways anyways. If meta starts charging people will go somewhere else. It’s odd to hear this take that people are somehow dependant on it. It’s more replaceable than a pair of shoes.
You mean Ff7 remake? I was pumped originally but they took so long to bring it to PC.
I feel the same about D4, the grind isnt satisfying. I stopped around level 72. Maybe there’s content I’m missing out on but I’d rather play d2 or path of exile right now.
Awesome, thanks for the suggestions! Unravel (2) was one of the first games we played together, it was the the perfect game to introduce her to because asymmetrical skill doesn’t hurt the game at all, actually it even helps.
I agree with you on the limited local co-op games out there. I feel like I’ve played them all. Online co-op will be an option when I fix my PC, but the couch experience is hard to beat.
Between Xbox and steam deck:
Recently I finished it takes two with my daughter, looking for new couch coops to play with her. For my own gaming time, getting bored of Diablo IV, Dave the diver was fun for a while but I’m ready for something else, maybe will get back into valheim.
Every few years I start getting emulators setup but then give up. Wanted to setup on Raspberry pie, Nvidia shield, and now maybe steam deck is next.
