Damn that is insane. My skin would slink off if I did 300+

"Might as well not bother patching this actively-exploited security vulnerability, there’ll just be another one in the future, " LMAO
I uninstalled the Google News app bc otherwise I’m sure it’d send me notifications for articles about bosses and lore
Yup:
“Bethesda and Todd Howard announced Elder Scrolls 6 when they did because of fan demand, or in the words of Skyrim’s lead designer Bruce Nesmith, because ‘the pitchforks and torches were out.’” Source
Elder Scrolls VI exits pre-production, development begins (August 2023)
Super Mario World is my fave video game ever, but I agree it would be awesome to have a slightly harder version. I explored several challenging ROM hacks of it a few years ago and they were impossible to play, like I had to use save states to get through the first level. Celeste is basically my favorite difficult platformer now
I bought Vampire Survivors two weeks ago and I have almost 40 hours, all on Steam Deck. It’s the most fun I’ve had gaming in a long time. Simple gameplay loop with constant action and so many possible permutations of characters, stages, and power ups! I have ~ 2/3 of the unlocks and achievements so far.
I really wanted to get a steam deck when they first came out, but I decided not to bc I wasn’t gaming much at the time. Then I got a SD OLED right when they came out, and I’ve been playing it pretty much every day since then. I love playing retro games and emulating on it since its OLED screen is amazing, and I also do Steam Remote Play to it from my gaming PC and Chiaki to remote play from my PS5. Like another poster said, the Steam Deck has also been a game changer for getting me playing older games from my backlog. It’s perfect for playing games on the couch while watching TV or a movie as well.
You can have tons of tabs open while still being able to read what they are
Moving the tabs to the side of your browser window frees up more vertical real estate which better matches the webpage layout of most websites, which otherwise have wasted space on the left and right sides of the page when viewing them on a computer
I run into this most often for video game mods’ and fan ROM hacks’ support communities; they might host their projects on GitHub, but any and all technical support happens exclusively on their Discord server.
Nonsense! All you have to do is individually search each channel on the discord server and you just might find a brief thread discussing your issue 6 months ago, and then you just have to scroll for three minutes to find the comment with the resolution

I’m following Bazzite’s development closely because I feel like that’ll be the saving grace for all the gaming handhelds that are windows-only at the moment. If Bazzite matches or supplants SteamOS then I might consider a device like an ROG Ally.
Nice - are you playing with Mods?
Thanks! My samsung S21’s camera really struggles to focus on anything remotely close to its lens, even if I manually adjust it in Pro mode. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Thanks! I am super stoked with how it turned out. It took me about 4 hours, but a decent chunk of that was me using a utility knife cracking open the one touchpad for which I was trying to swap its cover before I realized it wasn’t compatible. I suppose I could’ve swapped their covers and adhered the replacements to the metal brackets, but I also could not get the touchpad daughterboards out of the housing (they are likely adhered to the other piece too).
These are the resources I referenced while working on it:
Same. I got lifetime memberships to 3 usenet provides but the *arr suite gets ~95% of my media from nzbgeek. Now the only recurring cost is for my provider. Downloads are so much faster and reliable than torrenting, and the automation is amazing.
I’m sorry you are being downvoted for having a legitimate opinion. While I disagree with your opinion on Dolby 5.1 for Kirby Air Ride, I still went and upvoted all your comments in this thread. The hive mind on Lemmy around FOSS is too vocal and punitive at the moment, and I’m saying that as a Linux SysAdmin who is obsessed with open source alternatives wherever feasible.
Playing through Tunic for the first time - loving it so far!
Just ordered these on Amazon - will try installing them in my OLED when they arrive this week
Respectfully disagree when it comes to this video! I wouldn’t have fully appreciated the innovations he presents ~80-minutes in without the preceding historical context!
Press X to doubt.
