Red Eclipse 2 was mentioned but it’s a great example. Using the same engine and hasn’t had a release since 2021 is Assault Cube Reloaded. https://github.com/acreloaded/acr

I’ve done this so many times at school and work. It’s crazy what you can accomplish by leaving a problem until the morning.
I know this is just a meme but school is an excellent way to have a foundational understanding of how things work, and learning to problem solve including googling.
They had a big push and update a few years back focusing on redoing the UI to make it more friendly to beginners. Although I haven’t personally used it a ton since then.
I had this on Ubuntu or Debian awhile back. PopOS shares enough with them this might be the same issue. It was a quick fix that worked for me. If not, then there’s multiple scratchy HDMI issues out there…

I find in the car is the most inconvenient. Having the GPS open drains the battery pretty quick on my old phone, leaving no way to drive for hours with both music and navigation.
This isn’t unique to Lemmy or haphazard coding. It’s a common technique to get pictures into Github READMEs this way. You’d create a PR, upload an image, copy the link, delete the PR, and then paste the link elsewhere on Github for use.

Depending on how many tourists visit, it may not be possible to rid tourists without at least affecting the economy a little bit.
Not only Airdrop but iCloud subscriptions. When backing up/sharing large photo libraries using iCloud is faster and easier than to a computer, then they’re going to sell a lot more iCloud storage subscriptions.
invalid_post_title error on Memmy on iOS. Seems the error isn’t being handled properly on the web interface. Why it’s an invalid title is the real mystery I suppose.

It comes from a place of personal experience.
spends an hour configuring Proton to run a game smoothly, plays for 10 minutes

Good find, to me it’s this logo, which was used from 2005-2013 across a lot of popular games. Logo
I have a thought, coming from Raspberry Pis that use a microSD card as their main disk. People would report that heavy usage of an SD card would wear it out, particularly writes. Does Steam or the OS do any writing to the disks while playing from them? If so, unless you’re downloading new games, mounting in read-only mode might extend their lives a bit. Again, just a thought and maybe it’s not an issue since it’s primarily reads being done, or maybe it’s crossed your mind already.
eBay does, and is a great place to find stuff like this.
I live in Canada. I torrented without a VPN for years, only got one scare tactic email. I also had up to* 25 Mb/s with a data cap for $100/month. Guess Canada is a third world country.
ding dong your distro is wrong
I will disclaim I’ve only used Debian based so I’m in no place to judge.
