Haha after an all night session back when I was in high school I did the very same upon hearing a tractor in a field nearby.

😁 ok thanks. I get the speeding the cycle up bit! Makes sense that it’ll be easier to fix bugs if the code is open.
So running games in Linux using my 3080 is going to work better now?
Could you ‘purchase’ a free game to meet the rule?
It’s a bit sneaky that you can’t sell the items you’ve won.
On a pier on a very windy they blew from my jacket and into the sea.
That’s a very good idea
He must be aware of the parallels between Twitter and MS?
He must be just generating publicity for himself.
I thought it looked a bit like a dying GPU … Would it be because xwayland is or isn’t using the 3D renderijg something
This is neat solution, you’ll lose the laptop WiFi internet access though.
You can set the pi to connect to the phone WiFi by editing files on the SD card (using your laptop)

Pi4 with 2TB SSD running:
HDMI cable straight to the living room Smart TV (which is not connected to the internet).
Other devices access media (TV shows, movies, books, comics, audiobooks) using VLC DLNA. Except for e-readers which just use the Calibre web UI.
Main router is flashed with OpenWrt and running DNS adblocker. Ethernet running to 2nd router upstairs and to main PC. Small WiFi repeater with ethernet in the basement. It’s not a huge house, but it does have old thick walls which are terrible for WiFi propogation.
Interesting, I have a almost kidney shaped memory foam pillow from IKEA UK.
I’m not aware of the big chunky square pillows.
Don’t forget moonlight also runs on the Raspberry Pi. https://github.com/moonlight-stream/moonlight-docs/wiki/Installing-Moonlight-Qt-on-Raspberry-Pi-4
And I had it running on a PS Vita, though the experience wasn’t great and I never used it very much.
I think the Ubisoft guy is pushing for subscriptions when a lot of people are not keen. See any of the recent articles about NatGeo pulling videos from Sony, etc etc.
As gamers grow comfortable in that aspect… you don’t lose your progress. If you resume your game at another time, your progress file is still there. That’s not been deleted. You don’t lose what you’ve built in the game or your engagement with the game. So it’s about feeling comfortable with not owning your game.
If I buy a game I want to be able to play whenever I feel like it.
I completed Fallout New Vegas last year, graphics were a bit dated but the game it still great.
My point is that I don’t trust Ubisoft to do what’s good for gamers.
Point taken, I’ve updated the post to include the headline
It means “If I remember correctly” - iirc
I just cancelled my subscription
Slightly off topic, but one major benefit for me with Chromecast and keeping the TV offline is software bloat.
Our old Samsung TV running tizan had so many shitty updates that slowed the UI down to what felt like over a second delay when using the remote.
Microwaves also don’t contain motors 😂
Does the AI writer not know about PS Vita and PS Portable?
We had the teams update at work, with the endless notifications to let me know that a new version was coming, would I like to update early, on the 1st the update will be forced …
