I can’t imagine wanting to play a mobile game on Steam Deck… but having access to other native apps sure sounds like a win. Didn’t consider that.

Right. Okay.
But why?
ChatGPT 4o is the top dog right now, by a lot.
Wow, and it’s made with Godot!?
Link without adblock harassment:
Not to rain on the parade, but as long as we allow the reality-sized hole that is non-profits owning for-profits, this isn’t something I can get terribly excited about.
Historically, Debian.
Right now, openSUSE.
This whole “for-profit owned by a non-profit” paradigm needs to globally crushed right the fuck now. It should never have been allowed to happen and should not be tolerated.

FTFY, linuxiac.
Exactly the same here. It’s not perfect… it’s slow, it doesn’t work with your mobile mail client… but it’s better than the supervillain levels of evil that Google is pushing out.
I do like their laptops, but for literally everything else: the fact that I basically don’t own my own hardware.
I can’t install or distribute my own software without Apple’s arbitrary approval. When Apple decides it’s done supporting the products, I can’t even install a different OS like Linux because the hardware is completely locked down… they become paper-weights.
That is not how ownership is supposed to work.
This has been my stance for decades. They’re worse than Ubisoft when it comes to immoral and unethical treatment of their fans and customers.
So it DOES have a passive-aggressive mode!!!
I want that game - exactly as it is - but with new, modern graphics. AC+AX is about as perfect as a game can possibly get. Just needs a fresh coat of paint.
Hard pass. The art style, the music, the whole vibe…
I don’t understand how you create a masterpiece like DA:O and then repeatedly go “let’s make a followup that is nothing like that whatsoever…”
Let’s gooooo!!!
P.S. is PopOS! still the popular choice for desktop gaming? Looking for a more permanent alternative to Windows. I’m currently leaning toward openSUSE + Plasma 6, since I’ve fallen out of love with Ubuntu/Canonical pretty hard. I know Pop is Ubuntu-based, but… I’d rather not have to build up from something like Arch.
The Mist
That ending was one of the most brilliant gut-punches in film history. Stephen King himself said he wished he had written it.
Stop stealing my brainwaves!!!
But you are correct, nonetheless.
Ah. Ok, that makes sense!
Does the Android version already have gamepad support, or would it be touchscreen only?
