No matter how dark the night, morning always comes. And our journey begins anew. - Lulu FFX
It’s from the video game Final Fantasy X, but it’s still such an amazing qoute
Anything. Music makes everything easier to do for some reason
If you need a laugh:
This Paranormal Life and The Adventure Zone.
This Paranormal Life is a comedy podcast about 2 guys who investigate the paranormal and come down on an answer as to whether they believe the story happened or not. They go into deep detail about the subjects they are talking about in a hilarious but informative way.
The Adventure Zone is a tabletop roleplaying podcast about the McElroy family trying to play roleplaying games and creating amazing stories all in a hilarious way.
Chicken Broccoli Braid from Pampered Chef. Trust me, it’s worth it.
My relationship with my mother
I’ve just started a new game in Dragon’s Dogma Dark Arisen on my switch. Surprised at how well it’s held up
After discovering revanced and smarttube I refuse to ever go back
I saw a post on reddit a while back from the developers of Ableton. Someone asked in the subreddit if they had permission to pirate the program because they are in high school still and don’t have the money to purchase the $600+ program but really wanted to start making music using that DAW. A developer responded saying something along the lines of “We’d prefer you pirate our program to start learning and being creative instead of using another DAW. Then, when you start making a profit on your music you created with the pirated program set some aside and eventually purchase Ableton.” This creates lifetime loyalty tbh. These developers know that they’d rather you use their programs via pirating because they know if those users like it enough they will eventually purchase it. This is exactly what I did. I pirated the program and released some songs until I hade the money to purchase it myself.
I would love to Google search Lemmy instead of reddit. I just don’t know how feasible it would be being that Lemmy is decentralized.
I use KeePass every single day
I only use it when googling questions that I know reddit has the answer for. And I hate it the whole time. I spend only enough time on there to get my answer then immediately close the web page. Call me silly or what you will, but I personally want to give as little interaction with that website as possible now. Fuck u/spez
As for the drama, I subscribe to a couple Lemmy instances that share the drama through Lemmy, that way I can be in the loop without having to be on the actual website.
You can find lactose free alternative milk. One brand is called Lactaid and it tastes exactly the same an normal milk.
Oh yeah, the Sync for Lemmy communities are hopping. I thought the same as you since most people talk about Boost or RIF or whatnot. Glad to see a lot of us are still supporting ljdawson
Explain the future doesn’t get better and they shouldn’t hope too much.
You aren’t wrong…
Currently I use Jerboa first, but if that doesn’t work I switch to Connect, then Wefwef then just a web browser. All to wait for Sync for Lemmy to release.
Windows 11 because I’m too lazy to try and figure out how to run applicationa/games on a Linux based OS.
Oh yeah, I was telling my wife this exact thing. I feel like I can comment and post way more than I used to and get in discussions cause my comments won’t be drowned out as much and when I do see a post it doesn’t already have 3k comments on it already like in reddit. A lot more intelligent conversation too which is a nice change.
Edit: sorry about the second comment, my instance isn’t updated and is having issues. Tried deleting the second comment but it won’t let me lol
Same. Spent 3 hours on Gundyr in ds3 just to watch my non gamer wife beat him second try. Hated the game then came back to it with a friend who had finished it and voila, my new never ending addiction.
