even on a less well-maintained system it’s probably not going to be the kernel having a freakout, the kernel is going to be just fine while something else shits itself (probably graphics drivers on a desktop tbh, my vega 10 loves to vomit onto the screen and pass out)
and even then you can at least buy some tippex to censor things, and if you want to get advanced i’m sure there are products that straight up remove the ink from the paper.
I know there are specific extra hard erasers for removing pen ink
or, you know, just put a black bar over it so the information is just completely gone from the image?
scribbling over is never going to actually work, the information is still there for anyone who wants to extract it. It’s like shouting over someone instead of just getting them to shut up.
if you really want to maximize your london experience you should rent a closet in a hallway for £5000 per month
and this is why i basically ignore online shopping except for a few things, it’s utter nonsense and almost certainly completely automated with chatgpt at this point, you might as well donate to the church and pray that god puts your desired item in the mail before sunday.
me when i spread misinformation
unrelated to the OP but a suggestion for your problem:
Waveup has a setting to lock the screen after X seconds with the proximity sensor covered, it’s not very sophisticated and thus it can be a bit over-eager, but if the phone being interacted with by your leg while in the pocket is driving you up the wall then this should fix that.
i can assure you japan isn’t that much saner than the rest of us, like really the one big thing they have going for them is pretty good urban planning and public transport.
Where most nations have people working their asses off because they need money to buy food, japan made the innovation of having people work themselves to death mostly out of social obligation instead! Much more exciting.
also fishing regulations afaik
and we know for a fact that most of these companies have dogshit IT security, doubtless at most of them the janitor can sign in with his corporate ID and access customer data without anyone noticing.
Most CEOs could be automated with a random number generator that runs on a combustion engine fueled by burning dollar bills.
it’s like how techbros constantly want to reinvent transportation, if they assign an AI to give them an answer it would just say “build more railways and trains” and they’d throw it out a window in anger
like beeing seen by others not putting away the shopping cart, now everyone knows you’re incapable of the basic decency test
this is how i feel about basically all technology nowadays, it’s all so artificially limited by capitalism.
nothing fucking progresses unless someone figures out a way to monetize it or an autistic furry decides to revolutionize things in a weekend because they were bored and inventing god was almost stimulating enough
as much as you can use windows without touching the command line, so long as you don’t fuck about with stuff or want to do anything particularly fancy you have no reason to touch the terminal, but if you break stuff then just like with windows you’ll want to use the terminal to fix things because otherwise you’ll be spending 5 hours clicking your fingers off in a graphical problem solver.
man i’m a linux enjoyer but celebrating 2% feels really desperate lmao, when it hits 5% i’ll be ready to respond with an entire “oh sweet”
idk, for me hibernation has mostly worked fine so long as i don’t hibernate with a game running, which seems to be more of a GPU issue than hibernate itself.
3.5 surely?
looks very soft
