Notesnook is not ready for self-hosting yet, but it’s up next on their roadmap. I’ve been trying it out in advance and it seems to work ok. The only issue I have with it is that it logs you out of the apps way too often.

If you’ve used Anytype, can you share your experience? I have an account and I’d like to move over some of my Notion content, but haven’t had time to try it yet.
The quick action buttons are great on Android, but I otherwise prefer how iOS keeps them out of the way. On Android, my status bar is always full anyway, so I’d prefer to have empty, like on iOS, since I’m not getting useful information anyway.
What was causing you to miss notifications? My experience is that on iPhone you get too many notifications, because of the lack of fine-grained control over notification categories.

Personal Finance has very little activity, sadly…
You know, I just realised this yesterday. I thought to myself “oh, this is mostly the same as Carrot, then!”. Good to know :)
Thanks! I’m going to try the free version :)
I’m using the free version and it’s still great. The best feature for me is that you can see hourly timelines of temperature and precipitation for every day for the week ahead. I’ve found the free data source to be reliable enough, so I don’t currently have a reason to pay.
AdGuard does both, which is why it’s good.
Do you need a paid license to get both features, or is the free version enough?
Are you using the free version of AdGuard or a paid license?
I didn’t know that was possible. Thanks for sharing!
What makes you choose Wipr over AdGuard and Ghostery?
Yes, and they constantly change how parts of the UI work, most often getting more in the way of efficient actual messaging… It’s really bad.
It’s good. Just keep in mind that it hasn’t been updated in a while…
They haven’t. The thread linked is from 2 years ago.
It used to be the same on the old site, where there was a wider distribution of opinions. It’s interesting to see it here, too, where most opinions seemee bias to one side.
Does anyone have any suggestion for iOS? Raivo seems to fallen from grace recently.
mxroute is also excellent. It’s rock solid and the support is top notch, should you ever need it.
Thanks for your work. I look forward to installing this soon!
Do you have any plans to support importing from similar services such as Raindrop, Omnivore, or Shiori?
