They’re cheap and offer port forwarding and there is a radio button you can click to stop seeing ads. It’s typically just a sale notice for AirVPN.

I’d take what you’re reading here with a grain of salt.
I switched to AirVPN from Mullvad after they removed port forwarding and it has been working fine for me. The phone client is dated like others say, and I have had a few ads popup in it, but it’s worked fine so far. I don’t have anymore knowledge about their privacy standards than the next guy, but I’m not too concerned as I’m just using it to torrent Linux ISOs.
I will say that Mullvad is a pretty stand-up company, and I was sad to leave them, but I need port forwarding.
they have the exact same capacity as me to understand why veganism is a moral obligation.
This is a “begging the question” logical fallacy
this is an ad hominem and, as I stated, a thought-terminating cliché.
veganism is a moral obligation
carnism comes with victims
is it just cope?
What thoughtful discussion arises from someone repeatedly telling you that they’re morally superior to you for choosing one specific diet over another? You’re projecting here.
I have no issues with someone being vegan, but I take issue with self-righteous people such as yourself who can’t help but talk about how superior their choices are.
And here’s that exact superiority complex on display for all to see.
I still see people parroting these narratives about stuff like weed even after it has been legalized. Some people are too far down the propaganda rabbit hole.
Lmao I’ve interacted with plenty of hexbear users but this comment takes the cake as one of the most unhinged, off the wall comments I’ve ever read.
Congrats for being on lemmy for years, but that has nothing to do with anything said here, nor does pronoun preference.
It’s no wonder you all need to travel in packs. Without your fellow cult-like cosplayers manipulating the discussion with your blatant falsehoods and fabrications, you’d find zero support and be all alone and on display as the charlatans that you are.
Everyone You Disagree With Is A Bot/NPC
Nah, just the accounts that come out of nowhere to post irrelevant nonsense that has nothing to do with the discussion.
Jordan Peterson already wore out that gimmick.
I don’t follow propagandists such as him, but you must be a big fan to be so familiar with him, which is entirely unsurprising to me as your entire instance appears to be 4chan users doing a poor job of cosplaying as leftists.
Bad bot. You don’t even understand the context of the discussion here.
That’s quite the banana hammock he’s wearing.
I do this too. Any junk that might be sellable but likely not goes to Goodwill so they can deal with it. The decent items go to a local thrift shop that actually helps the community.
The jobs training program where they hire people with disabilities and then pay them below minimum wage because of a loophole in the law?
This is like two stumbling drunk parents arguing over who’s better to drive everyone home and telling the kids “shut up you’re not helping!” when they suggest taking a cab.
The one comment that unites both liberals and conservatives in their hatred of the left.
It looks fine for me. You should be able to upload to your lemmy instance as well.
It’s not just the bandwidth that’s the issue it’s the amount of data as many people have datacaps.
The article says:
official Microsoft bandwidth recommendation for that game was 50 Mb/s.
which comes out to 23GB/hr. That can add up quick. 10 hours in a month equates to 20% of my cap with Comcast.
This also neglects people who live in rural areas that might not even have 50Mbps available and can’t play because MS streams half the game to you rather than include it in the install files.
Also *Mb/s not MB/s
Your Android suggestion will only block ads in your browser. Something like AdGuard or PiHole will also block them everywhere else on the device.
Ad Guard and PiHole won’t block youtube ads because they’re DNS based and youtube ads come from the same DNS as the videos do. I bought a lifetime AdGuard subscription and put it on all our devices and it works well everywhere except Youtube. For that I just use Firefox and UBlock origin to watch videos on my phone and PC. I’ve never been a fan of watching YT on my TV or anything so this works fine for me.
Looks like he just got home from his job in insurance sales.
It’s so weird that I just started seeing posts from this group on Facebook a few days ago and now there’s a lemmy community for it.
