I can barely afford rent :( I don’t mind kids just playing etc. We have a big green field outside where kids play all day and its no problem. But there is a family a few houses down with kids that just scream. Not even laughing really. Just pure high pitched screaming. Fighting with eachother and screaming. And they will do that until 10-11pm in the weekends.

My autism just make the experience a 100x worse.

Completely agree. I hate heat with a passion. My 2 biggest annoyances are lawn mowers being loud and neighbors outside all day with kids that scream their fucking lungs out. Just high pitched fucking screaming for hours on end.

I know i used to play outside when i was little, but never did i yell and scream uncontrollably for fucking hours, driving anyone in a 200 meter radius fucking insane. Sorry i just don’t get it.

I use noise canceling earphones but i can’t and don’t want to wear those all day long.

Why do i need to come up with a solution? I don’t work at Valve. We’re asking Valve to come up with a solution and do something. Its their game. Its their code.

And to pretend Valve is trying hard is very ignorant… the only thing they try hard is adding more hats and making sure the marketplace works.

What kind of dumb answer is that? So its either accept the way it is or shut the game down? There is no way to fix a thing? Can’t work on anti cheat, better moderation, actual consequences for the assholes doing this, etc?

What is it with so many people crawling so deep up Valve’s ass. They are not some holy company that loves you deeply.

And I’m not just talking about the tf2 situation. Valve turns a blind eye to a lot of things on their platform such as hate speech and groups that purely exist to harass people.

Valve just closing their eyes and ears like they do to all other shitty things being done by players on their platform.

This is exactly how i feel about genshin impact. Its art design is absolutely stunning and can run on a damn phone.

All the photorealism is nice and all but i prefer good art styles and better and more gameplay.

What a strange design. Why the keyboard instead of how the steam deck does it? I never even use the touch screen. I type by selecting the letters with the dpad. Its… strange. Also no trackpads. I mean some people could like it? It just looks a bit fucked. Like someone glued their kids tablet to a controller/keyboard abomination from aliexpress.

I was looking up lambda functions for rust because i needed it for something and didn’t know how, what, etc. But searching anything lambda now only shows results for fucking amazon lambda bullshit! Really pisses me off… its fucked 😠

Exactly. It is a really great game and the grinding can be very fun with the character skill explosions wiping out entire screens worth of mobs.

When the game released, the only micro transactions were clothing for your character and a pet that could pick up items automatically. Its really sad they didn’t just keep it that way.

A few months ago they got in deep shit because the gacha part apparently sometimes didn’t contain the low chance stuff at all. So you could pay a million dollars and you would never get it.

Oh this is a good post for me! This happened to me. I had my pc drive encrypted so when it boots, i need to provide it with the password before it boots my OS. I use bitwarden to store my passwords and my bitwarden needs my 2FA code to unlock.

I wanted to install the newest version of LineageOS on my phone so i backed up everything to my pc and made sure i had everything backed up properly.

Then i wiped my phone and downloaded the new LineageOS iso and had to put it on my phone using ADB. But it had an issue to where it wouldn’t detect the phone. So i thought “Let me reboot my PC real quick because that might fix it.”

Presses reboot… "Please type your password to decrypt your harddrive: "

I have never had a worse panic attack in my life. EVERYTHING was on that drive. My work, my photos, my bank info, my entire life was on that encrypted drive.

But my password was on bitwarden. And to unlock bitwarden i needed my 2FA. Which i had backed up on my drive… which was now encrypted and i couldn’t unlock anymore.

I absolutely fucking lost it.

I dug through the entire house and after almost 8 hours of searching i found one of my old laptops in a box in the attic. I suddenly i got the idea that MAYBE i had once backed up my phone stuff before because i ran the phone OS it came with and i then at one point installed LIineageOS.

I dug through every single folder and suddenly i found an old vault backup of the two-factor authenticator UNENCRYPTED app that i had used before.

I send it to my wife’s phone and imported it into the app. The ONLY account that was on there… was bitwarden.

After almost 14 hours of pure stress and panic, i was able to decrypt my harddrive.

So my PERSONAL advice is ALWAYS store a physical backup.

I don’t want to go through that stress ever again.

The ONLY GaaS game i have ever liked is genshin impact. I like that there is a ton of content that is completely free. And i don’t really care about having strong maxed out characters so I’m just enjoying the world and story.

Besides that, i hate GaaS. Every company wants to make one and they all fail. Just give me my nice stories and gameplay and I’m good.
