  • It is fun how you just know that every downvote or negative comment just bolsters op’s ego because to them it shows how the masses are stupid and they are one of the few who know how things should be. Replacing “democracy” with “science” makes no god damn sense because science is not a form o government. How hard would it have been to elaborate how you imagine your “scientific” goverment to work? I guess you would atleast have basic knowledge about politics. So what we got was the question of a 6 year old. How do you expect insightful comments?

  • This thread is a dumpster fire. Can someone explain to me why i should be concerned about the tracking of payments that as an average person will not happen outside of buying huge stuff like a car? While no one is forced to answer me i would like you to refrain from vague statements like “this is attacking your privacy”, because i am interested in how. If you think its obvious feel free to ignore.

I think the biggest point that i could see being a problem is the crypto stuff because i once made a anonymous donation via monero (that because i was concerned but the target needed privacy). It was about 30€ or something. Would that be illegal under the new guidelines? And if so, why would i care, since it is supposed to be anonymous.

  • Taking NNN serious has the same level of sanity as taking DDD (dick destroy december) serious. It is mostly a meme but there are always people taking it to the extreme. I personally, if i feel like it, look how long i last until i am really horny. Mostly takes around a week and while not fapping might not be the most healthy thing it is also not as big of a deal as some make it out to be if it isn’t something you try all year.

That said, an update for a beloved hentai game came out on the first of november, so i did not even try.

  • I feel like these two are additive. A script could present a vulnerability without being an ad (and thus be on the blocking list on adblock) could it not? So feel like to accept the least amount of scripts is the way to go. However i understand the annoyance because sometimes i just want to visit a page without going through every single one of the many scripts. What i have started doing is to use a different browser from my default one if this situation arises. This browser is only having adblock as addons so when a page does not work and i dont want to fiddle with the setting i just visit via the other browser. Not an ideal solution, i know, but i think its better than getting rid of NoScript.

I would love to hear better solutions though because i admit i am not an expert in anything.
