I am not sure you know meaning of irony
All I am saying is that i have met truly insufferable know it alls and he is not one.
Peace of life advice, don’t let other people tell you how to think, form your own opinions based on the things you value and experience.
Thor exist, and so do a lot of people that are a lot worse. He gets at more hate than he deserve when people like Jordan Peterson exist.
Also, you don’t have to watch his videos. You can just ignore him and move on with your life. There are better things to do with your time than to hate someone.
If you think he is an insufferable know it, you have not met enough insufferable know it alls. He is look warm obnoxious at best.

They may even be counting on the buzz to sell more copies at full price.

Newsteinleo@midwest.socialto Games@lemmy.world•As The Outer Worlds 2 hits $80, director says "we don't set the prices for our games" and wishes "everybody could play" Obsidian's new RPGEnglish18·22 days agoIf you assume 25% of player will buy at 80, 50% will buy at $50, and 25% will buy at $20. Per 100 buyers they stand to make $5,000. However if they start at $50 with 75% of buys buying at that price, they will make $4,250. This is about maximizing profit by selling to fans with deep pockets first then discounting latter to captured the rest of the player base.

I don’t care if your email is cumdumpster19 I care if you know how to configure a firewall. But I think most people look for reason to round file a resume and not reasons to say yes to an applicant.

Is running a Lemmy instance going to now come with a huge legal risk and moderation requirements that three people with day jobs can’t handle?
When I was on help desk I often talked about meeting the client where they were at in their technical skill level. Sometimes their technical skill level was “Can you click the icon in the bottom left that looks like a window with four pains, and then click the settings icon it looks like a gear”. If mounting a file share was involved I just remoted in, none of the people that called could handle those instructions.
Apology exempted. Just please considered that the person you are correcting may not know English as their first language or by be struggling with dyslexia or some other issue you may know nothing about
