CTGP-7 doesn’t care if you cheat in Monster Hunter Stories. Cheat plugins are designed to only work with specific games and won’t affect other games. If you need more information you should ask on the official thread on GBAtemp.

It’s through Proton, but the game runs flawlessly. Do note that you’re really going to want a controller for this one. Playing this with a keyboard is a miserable experience. Another thing is that there’s an unofficial tool for importing images over your custom graffiti, but it’s for Windows and I’ve never tried it with Wine.

The closest I can offer to what you’re asking for is that there are some e-readers that use Android. I own a Boox Page, which is one of those, and I’m happy with it. Boox products are a bit on the pricier side, but they do offer features that can be difficult to find on other manufacturers’ offerings, such as a micro SD slot.

My sister uses her second monitor maninly for Discord, but sometimes it’s art references or game guides.

To answer your question about system updates, it’s almost always safe to update and there’s no reason not to update as long as your CFW (Luma) is fully updated. System updates are only an issue on OFW, since the updates are basically just for patching the exploits used to get CFW in the first place.

As for the limitations of region changing, The Guide has that covered on their page for the process.

Another really important thing is that you should never follow any guide other than the one I previously linked. You especially should not follow a video guide because they get outdated very quickly and may promote old and/or unsafe methods of hacking the console.

The Japanese version can be played in English if you have a MIL-CD compatible system. You’ll just need to burn a boot disc to a CD-R.

Additionally I’ll leave Amnesia: Memories as a title I do not recommend at all. The only route I kind of liked was Shin’s. As for Toma’s route, the less said, the better.

Almost anything first person. It makes me incredibly nauseous, which is really unfortunate because there are some really neat games that use the mechanic. I recently sold my copy of Echo Night since I couldn’t play for more than around ten minutes at a time. I also couldn’t complete the tutorial in Half-Life because it made me so nauseous that I had to spend almost the entire day in bed. Weirdly I’m perfectly fine with Metroid Prime.

I’m happy with the 8bitdo controllers I’ve picked up. They’re great if you like the official controllers, but want something wireless.

I’m still salty about not getting an English release of Million Monkeys. On another note, Ape Escape Move was such a missed opportunity. Ape Escape’s gameplay was just asking for (preferably optional) motion controls, but instead they made a rail shooter.

Some old Archos media players, such as the 605 WiFi, run a locked down Linux according to Wikipedia.

It’s almost always better to not buy a cheap sex toy. There’s no regulation of the industry and many materials in cheaper toys are just straight up dangerous. Here’s an article (it’s NSFW, there are pictures) that goes over what materials are and aren’t safe.

Etrian Odyssey

I tried the demo for the fourth one and just didn’t really like or get it. A couple years later Atlus announced Persona Q (which has mostly the same gameplay as Etrian Odyssey) so, I decided to give the demo another try and it just clicked this time. I have no idea why I didn’t like it the first time around.

This might not be as old as you’re looking for, but there was a really good homebrew painting program for DS called Colors. It even had pressure sensitivity on DS and DS Lite (but not DSi or 3DS consoles because their touch screens just didn’t have that feature).

Also do note that the servers for both LittleBigPlanet games and ModNation Racers are gone, meaning you’ll have to rely on your own creativity, since both series had a big focus on player created content.
