I have 2 guncon 2’s a crt and a hacked ps2. I really don’t use it enough.

I just did something similar. I got given my childhood DMG after my mum found it when moving. It would turn on but the screen was broken. I used this screen and this tutorial. You will have to solder the speaker to the new board.

The screen works great now and is backlit. I also bought a $20 copy of tetris to test it. I then bought a flash cart for it. I have the EZ FLASH jnr. Works fine and it saves games. Has a real time clock which you want for pokemon I think.

The only thing I would say is doing the screen modification was annoying. I went back to funny playing and bought the case and parts they have that fit the screen. It’s in the mail atm.

I also bought a pack of 4 eneloop batteries and a charger. I considered the clean juice xl battery mod but I don’t think I’ll use it that much.

I might do a sound mod to it at some point the headphone jack has a lot of hiss. Might just need to replace some caps.

Yeah not sure if it was the last it was late in the dc lifespan and a Japan only release. I don’t think a lot of copies where released either. Its very expensive if you can find it now. It’s a great game visually and is hard but reasonable. The border system is is confusing though. The story isn’t to bad either for a shmup.

That’s fair enough. I had no nostalgia for it and came across one cheap console with a broken power supply. Swapped that out then upgraded it. The price of games for the system are pretty crazy especially for Shmups.

I do quite enjoy it though I had a play station growing up and if I had the choice again it would be the PS. Though the Sega saturn is a neat machine and it does have some interesting games.

Yeah there’s a lot Japanese owned Aussie beers also molson Coors have a stake hear, though I feel like they sell things like millers chill and Coors rather than bought out existing. I may be wrong on that. Coca cola amatil bought feral a few years ago another weird one i don’t think they own any other breweries. Also AB Inbev own a few brands here.

Oof that’s rough. Im not sure how excise tax works where you are but here it’s every six months it increases. Beer seems to get worse /smaller /more expensive over time.

There was a beer I drank a lot 5 years ago from a local brewery that was a 6.5% abv ipa. They dropped the abv then dropped down to 4 packs then the price went up $5 aud. I get they are a business but it just wasn’t at a price point I could justify paying for it. There was a time where I gave up homebrewing because I could get local good beer for a good price. I’m contemplating taking it back up but it’s a lot of work.

Definitely an interesting man and brewery for sure don’t get me wrong. The problem I have with guiness is the same I have with many famous breweries. Is that as soon as they are bought out by soulless mega corps be it AB inbev, Heineken, asahi or lion Nathan all that culture and history may as well be thrown out the window. The past of these great breweries is nothing more than a tool for the marketing team to increase sales numbers. Which is definitely a shame. Support local small business that are actively involved in your community over international mega corporations. Be a conscious consumer and vote with your dollar in everything not just beer.

Guinness is owned by diageo a company know for having no bottom, toptier shit heads. They’d charge you full price to spit in your mouth if they could.

Also unpopular oppionion don’t drink this mediocre beer. Support local brewery’s there is probably one with a porter on nitro (guiness is barely a stout).

New OS what do you mean? My SS has a fenrir and a working memory card slot and I still find it a pita dealing with saves on this console. Luckily batsugun doesn’t really need all that much save wise.
