Sorry, two separate thoughts. Wasn’t saying open RCT used assembly just wanting to shout out the project.

Not necessarily, unless you’re working on something like an OS you’re not usually directly accessing/working on the hardware. As long as you can connect the asm up to your os/driver abstraction layer and the os to hardware apis work the game should be functional. Not to mention RCT targets the x86 assembler architecture which was one of the most popular at the time
It also makes it really portable which is a big part of why all the ports to modern systems are so close to the original. Obligatory OpenRCT2 shoutout.
edit: This is not entirely correct, I was mistaken about my understanding of some things. Still check out openrct2
Pretty sure this is exactly the answer. Production Season 5/Broadcast Season 6 was made as 4 dvd movies that were then cut up into four episodes each for broadcast.
Getting in the habbit
I think this video or its second part mentions this or might have mentioned something about this but I can’t remember right now.

See, this is how to be that guy but actually be nice and helpful at the same time. Good on you
Right, fuck, my bad. Welp, yeah, I’m sorry to say but I think it has more to do with your progression into understanding more about the world and perspectives outside of your own experience. In no way am I trying to be mean or discouraging. You asked a really valid and important question, and i guess i impulsively reacted and forgot there are people less jaded than me. For what it’s worth i admire you and hope that learning some people are STILL stuck being shitty doesn’t make you think everyone sucks. And I’m proud to learn that another person younger than me just ‘gets it’ that people are people deserving of love and respect regardless of bullshit like who they themselves love.
All of a sudden? Where have you been the last 80-100 years?
A side to this is that certain techniques will be deliberately obfuscated or simply omitted as a security measure in the hopes of slowing a bad actor’s eventual bypassing of the measure. It’s an arms race and if the intruder doesn’t know what all the locks even are, it takes longer to break or pick them.
It’s not even an argument really, it’s the undeniable logical conclusion that trading your labor and/or time for compensation is work, period.
