Reminded me of this lol
LanguageIsCool@lemmy.worldto Games@lemmy.world•What games are just objective masterpieces?English2·1 month agoJust started BG3. Fuckin mind-blowingly amazing.
Crows and / or ravens (forgive my ignorance) are such characters.
One time when camping, a few of them came down to the campsite to try to get some of my food. They had this whole act going on. They would try approaching from different angles. Inching closer, slowly. But when I directly looked at them, they would pretend they were doing something else: turn around, walk in another direction, playing it cool. Fucking hilarious.
I’ve heard that a Claude 4 model generating code for an infinite amount of time will eventually simulate a monkey typing out Shakespeare

Taking you to a "an account with email already exists" page after attempting to log in.English31·2 months agoTo me the process seems most intuitive like this:
- Go to homepage
- Be able to immediately log in or have separate links for login and sign up
I find it counterintuitive to have a field on the homepage that looks like a login but isn’t. Does the website have more new users than returning users?

My usual experience online though is that this is presented the other way around. Signing up is its own button, and logging in is the default field. So, I’m sure like many others, I intuitively go forth and try to sign in.
I’m posting this in the mildly infuriating community, because the interface is counterintuitive. This wasn’t posted in “worst UIs.”

I flashed my brights at them to communicate that maybe they had left their brights on. They then proceeded to flash their actual brighter brights at me. Unbelievable lol
