We’re already seeing games coming out which have a soft requirement for DLLS or FSR simply due to how incredibly unoptimized they are.

Awesome! If I can ever afford a card with frame generation, that is. Looking increasingly unlikely though.
I used to run VM’s in parallel for my job, which eat RAM like candy. Other than that though, I’ve never had a use case for more than 32GB RAM.
I wouldn’t bother. People who arrive at any opinion without using logic can’t be reasoned out of that opinion using logic. It’s an emotional thing.

Every single new “innovation” is literally locked behind a paywall, sometimes multiple, in tiers. You can’t just “buy” anything anymore, you can only lease it, usually at exorbitant prices compared to not that long ago.
Tencent will grow to become the anti-Steam, mark my words. They already have their grubby mitts all over devs worldwide, and every single one will live to regret it (or their players, at the very least).
Lol no it isn’t. Quite the opposite.
It grows more oblique with every generation, but that is not progress.
Those scorpions in the big empty are the worst enemies in the entire game. Always dumping entire mags into them just to whittle their hp down…
I have a 13-year old son I love more than life itself, and my greatest regret is bringing him into this world. It was not my place to create yet another source of suffering in this pit of eternal damnnation. I will definitely not make the same mistake again. Luckily I’m currently pretty much infertile.
Everything, considering we’ll be fighting each other over puddles of standing water in about two to three decades. Today’s life will seem like paradise in comparison, even for people who are currently suicidal.
O- here. I frequently get called up when the red cross needs donations. We don’t get paid either but it’s an hour I’m off work and it does save lives.
I’m pretty firmly in the second category only. I have had the first a few times, but when whatever thing you were so stoked about inevitably fries or fails a few weeks in, you quickly learn to stop doing #1 altogether.
Encrypted DNS traffic => oh noed, what now?
Haha, thanks for the laugh. If I was, I either wouldn’t need a psych appointment, or at least it wouldn’t cause any issues.
I know better than that what my place in this world is, though. But thanks for at least having a heart. That puts you above everyone I have to interact with on a daily basis.
Absolutely not.
If they learn anything from this, it will be to better find the boundaries of what kind of grift they can or can’t get away with. The criminals will get smarter and barely a slap on the wrist. Worst case scenario, an entirely new flock of shitbirds will replace them and keep doing the same or worse.
As long as no one at the top goes to jail or completely personally bankrupt, there is 0 incentive for the system to change in the slightest.
At least one person seems to live in reality. I would love to live in the ideal world the other posters think we live in, though.
Asininity aside, lawfully I can make this appointment. I will also find myself looking at unemployment or a PIP for “performance reasons”…
Lol there’s even people accusing me of making it up or going to an illegal dentistry.
If you really want I can post pictures, but I warn you; they really aren’t pretty. I suppose I could also post the two or three pages of “aftercare” I got.
All in all, it seems a case of “This hasn’t ever happened to me, and it’s not my experience, so therefore, it can’t have happened to anyone, ever”. Whatever floats your boat.
No thanks.
