I personally use FlorisBoard on Graphine OS and I’m quite happy with it. Been using it for over a month now, it did take a couple days to get used to it.
I’m interested in many things and I’m always side tracked by more things.

Ngl that is sus. I would hope its a coincidence but if your already using feeder I would go to the settings and disallow X to run in the background.
I wonder if this could be involved with it too? https://blog.hidemyass.com/en/twitter-is-now-spying-on-the-other-apps-you-download-on-your-phone
I have not used Twitter so that’s my extent.
I was going to say it but didn’t want to be the only one. I do recommend and use it though.
I like mixing it up, even mid conversation, between Threema, Signal and Session. Put the puzzle together feds xD
I’m in a very small town, we only have a bar. $100/mo for 500mb/s up and down, at least I actually get that though. Rarely is it less, but they also hooked us all up with fiber when they ran the fiber thru the center of the city. Price is also largely because they are literally the only internet provider unless you go with satellite – which I was considering but with the weather here…probably not ideal.
I called it a bad bot because it’s become annoying, I strictly only use NewPipe on mobile because I like the features. I see this as nothing more than mass advertising with a bot to auto correct ppl.
However, with the bots I’ve seen here both piped.video and piped.yt do not work on my desktop or mobile devices, I have tried troubleshooting it but it’s not worth too much time when I can just view the direct YT using adblock and still not have any issues.
There is no reason the website should require me to turn off protections or other things if my current settings work on YouTube already.
It is also annoying that I have bots turned off in my settings and for some reason this bot that goes around making messages is the only one I see anywhere.
Bad bot, NewPipe works great but the piped website is horrible and I have yet to get it to even play a video with default settings.
Yeah, I figured I would need to go looking around and try to understand why you say “The population is benefitting”. Thank you for the link, I see the EU has made some attempts at transparency, but 15 minutes looking around still can’t find actual details on what exactly the expenses were on just by type of expense. Probably in there somewhere.
My original comment was in regards to yours “Facebook and Googke have had to pay ever ibcreasing fines”, and I was commenting primarily in regards to that part. And your follow up was formed in a question so I gave more context. Not trying to debate, it’s just crazy amounts of money, keeps happening and it’s like it’s turned into a new way of doing business that benefits government and companies.
Also, not part of the EU, so I’m largely focused on the US in particular. But I do appreciate the response and I’ll personally check it out more. Didn’t mean to come off as aggressively or combative kind of “debating” or otherwise just information seeking and I apologize if it did.
We’re talking billions of dollars, where is that spent? I’m no expert on the topic but I’ve yet to see any significant improvement from the massive amount of money the states and federal government takes from these companies. I would consider giving it back to the users who had their privacy broken would be the right move, for justice, but I have not heard that ever happening on scales like this. Redbull did like $15 gift cards for their issues with “Redbull gives you wings”, but haven’t seen that with big tech…I really hope you can provide more information and enlighten me.
There have been many millions of dollar fines over the years and many communities, roadways and overall infrastructure can be improved - which our taxes are supposed to pay for.
It’s like the governments benefits over these big tech companies breaking the laws set by the government.
Agreed. But the 3rd one I might put in a different geological location…that is if something already happened to 1&2…
🤫 “It’s not used in the wild…yet.”
Also, made me think about how micosoft has applied this to their settings. The microsoft account settings are horrible.
Yubico Security Key, to secure your logins and more!
Nope, but I’ve noticed especially firefox has done a fair amount of bashing – because its better and from one of their own.
If we’re talking adblock, brave is top dog imo. But if were talking top privacy and security then we’d be using tor browser in Tails or Qubes OS and then some.
There are many popular apps that is/could be spyware. Jusy like the feds trying to ban TikTok.
Question everything, trust no one.
My point was that everything is going over to subscription services and eventually it’s going to flood other markets too, such as shopping because it’s a money maker. It’s great Apple is doing well for itself, there was some struggling years, it’s crazy how much they make off subscriptions alone. Not hating on the player, hating the game.
Brave Browser, by far the best and so customizable. Many people don’t check settings but on mobile view the security > filters and you can enable the mobile YT script blocks for more ad-blocking and clearer look!
And I use Proton VPN w/ Block Ads, Trackers & Malware, but not really required.
Yeah, that is pretty crazy. It’s found almost everywhere, soon even grocery shopping will be subscription only.
I remember not that long ago trying, begging, pleading friends and family to hop on with apple. After 10 years, including working as Apple Support for 3 years, I finally got away. I love the quality, the software is so intuitive out of the box and it “just works”.
And that’s how I got kicked out of the local trader joes…
