My PS4 had a 2TB SSHD so when the PS5 launched with backwards compatibility I bought a 2TB USB SSD for my BC library (otherwise the PS5 internal storage capacity would have been a significant downgrade). Then when they added software support for the extended storage slot I added a 2TB M.2 card to support current gen titles. They both have their uses.
Of course as tends to happen they are all full anyway so new installs have to operate on a one-in / one-out policy.
external doesn’t work to run your games on it
Thats not quite true, any ps4 games you have are happy to use an external ssd and then you can save your internal storage for the titles that actually need it.
It would have been nice to play it without the framerate drops.
I felt the same at launch with Breath of the Wild.
I would have been happy to play a more powerful hardware variant that focused on being a home console. Instead Nintendo offered more portable versions :/
Do you get vouchers?
I find buying vouchers brings the per-title cost down to au$67.5.
In comparison Sony is charging au$125 for a 1st party title like the last of us part 1 so Nintendo feels like they are priced competitively.

I like the “classic” gameplay once they had talkies and split screen but disliked their experiments to push past that gameplay like Lego Movie 2 or Skywalker Saga.

You are right, having the password in the same vault does mean that if the vault itself is compromised they have both. Guess I could move the TOTP to a separate authenticator app but the only other apps I have a mobile only and there are times I need to login without having hands on my phone.
I guess the time based aspect of the TOTP makes it a little more resistant to having someone monitor my keystrokes or clipboard or whatever and capture a relatively long lived secret like my password. So I guess its a comprise I’m willing to make.
I generate a TOTP with my password manager, it stores all my other login details and keeps it simple.
Is VR2 titles for Premium new?
I thought it was only classics/streaming gated behind Premium

It’s only being beaten by Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, God of War, and of course – Helldivers 2.
I’m surprised its doing better than Horizon.
And probably some last minute WiiU ports.

Most Outright Games have some glaring flaws, the real question is whether they get in the way of enjoying the license.
Personally unless its a birthday or Christmas I we wait for a deep discount or PS+/gamepass.
The tipping point for us was Paw Patrol: Mighty Pups Save Adventure Bay. The TV movie had been a favorite so we bought it thinking it would probably continue the quality if Paw Patrol: On a Roll (which was a great first platformer). Unfortunately unlike its predecessor it had no speaking roles for the dogs, nor even the catchphrases, the dogs are mute the whole time! Which leads the to next problem, its short… too short. My 4 year old played though the campaign and rolled credits in 2½ hours.
The tradition continues.

Edit: I have loved CE since its 2006 launch and was not that impressed by the modes added for CE2 so I ignored CE2+ as more of the same. It looks like its discounted at the moment so I might see if I can get a two player game going over the weekend.
