Ugh, that’s so annoying. Every time windows updates i have to open the BIOS and put ubuntu first on the boot order so it doesn’t skip grub.
I Also have a drive that i can access on both linux and Windows and every so often Windows will make it inaccessible on Linux because it didn’t fully unmount the drive.

I just threw up in my mouth a little
unless we’re also putting “Slave” and “Cotton” on the dictionary chopping block
Aren’t we though? At least when it comes to tech, Master-Slave terminology has been largely deprecated in favor of other terms.
Windows 95
Windows 2000
How did you take a selfie with your feet? Impressive.
Lol, yeah, i do that too…
But with these old classics it’s even harder to resist for me. They usually have the biggest discounts, and how can i say this game that gave me so many hours of fun isn’t worth 2 fucking dollars?
- In the future if you have the financial ability, buy a legit key on sale. Even at 75%+ discount it helps.
I’ve been doing this a lot recently. Back when i was a teenager i used to pirate a lot, but now that i’m older and have disposable income i’ve been buying a ton of the games o used to pirate then.
Which unfortunally leads to me having tons of games on steam with barely any hours played (yet), when they should be in the thousands already.
Odds are if you don’t know how to exit vim you probably don’t want to save whatever you wrote in there.
You only need two fingers for that though
Me neither. Even Bing is better than google nowadays.
Also, when it comes to piracy, google basically blocks every relevant result.

Just to make it clear for anyone coming in now, the problem was solved! Thanks everyone for all the help.
It was really simple in the end, all i did was shift+shutdown on windows and it worked.
Yes, shift+shutdown worked.
That worked! Thanks.
But like, i’m pretty sure i turned off fast boot, not sure why windows was still doing this hybrid shutdown bs.
I mean, i’d argue that a car costs a bit more than $150, but i see your point.
