I almost forgot the alarmo
Mise en place really helps my adhd brain with cooking. Prepping while managing the stovetop stresses me out unless it’s during a long simmer.
Get a vpn and torrent to your hearts content. The subscription services are too fractured. I’ve got Jellyfin, audiobookshelf, and mealie self hosted
If you want a rower go with the concept2. It’s the gold standard for indoor rower and they hold their value. I prefer going moderate effort long distance because then that time can be doubled up as audiobook/tv time
Edit: Besides exercise, which would ideally be a mix of cardio and strength work, make stretching a part of your routine. At least a few times a week. I mainly target the hamstrings and hip flexors
Probably was from getting away from the chiropractor, ngl
I wouldn’t think of it as unhealthy, especially with home prepped sauce/toppings. Though after posting this I did notice the call out for healthy specifically, which I would tend to think of more so as high fiber and or high vegetable dishes.
Not necessarily quick, but low effort, I’d go with congee. Boil rice, roughly half a cup to 5 or 6 cups water, reduce to simmer until a velvety porridge . I usually do 1.5 or 2 cups at a time though, and have plenty of leftovers. Top with soy, fish sauce or what takes your fancy, and whatever roasted vegetables you want. Really you could add anything and not go wrong. Not necessarily quick , but low effort and pretty set it and forget it
Cacio e Pepe doesn’t take much ingredient wise or timewise. Another fairly simple pasta dish I’ve been making a lot is kenjis San Francisco Vietnamese noodles. It’s pretty similar, just with a soy fish sauce mixture that’s added in
I would kill myself with no weekend. It’s no way to live. Just work slaves
Swear on me mum, scout’s honor
+1 for cpap. You might not like it at first but seriously try out different options. There’s different mask types. My wife’s blood pressure dropped to normal very quickly once she started using it. Mood and energy levels improved by a lot. Sleep is super important
After two young kids I’ve pretty much abandoned multiplayer. Singleplayer, even deep ones, can be be paused, saved, interrupted and come back to later. And I’m wanting to go back to more distinct experiences, whereas I find stuff like league or live service games overfills time. I’m trying to avoid sandbox games too currently as well. Crusader kings, Stellaris, civilization are great, but im trying to concentrate on the more story driven games backlog right now
