Mine was also dental, so that checks out. My dream ended with a volcano for some reason.

A couple of times. This last time, I swore that I was conscious during the procedure and tried explaining it to the doctor when I woke up. I told him that I was sort of dreaming, and my brain was converting pain/pressure into stuff happening in the dream.
They didn’t seem to believe me, and honestly I don’t think I do either. I was really out of it when I woke up.
Oh wow, why haven’t I thought about asking chat gpt? That seems like a good place to start.
Movies make it seem like it’s some magical land of partying and having life-changing experiences every week, but I think the average person just goes to class and goes home.
Yeah, this is the fediverse’s way of telling us to break our old habit of piling on a single site and to spread out.
I have accounts on a few instances, and lemm.ee is the quickest and most stable of them all. I don’t know what they’re doing, but it’s great.
I’m not who you’re replying to, but I have accounts on a handful of instances for this very reason. Sometimes things go down or get laggy, and I just hop to a different instance.
It’s a strength of the fediverse.
Maybe it’ll take place back in the day of Gwen, Artorias, and all the knights.
Maybe I’ll finally understand the plot. I’ve watched so many videos (and played the games of course) and feel like I’m only grasping parts of it.
I’ve noticed this weird behavior both in browser and with apps. I usually have to manually click “mark as read” to clear my inbox every time.
I think it’s a virtue to be the type of person that tries to preserve the past. Hold on to memories and the things that represent them, so that you can share it with others later.
Museums of all types are filled with things that people like you have saved.
There are real problems, but be wary of news/social media that use doom & gloom for engagement. Algorithms will drown you in the most extreme takes, even when on the “right side” of real issues.
Just try to do the right thing, and don’t let the internet scare you into not living your life.
For friends and family? Texting, discord, etc.
The only social media I use outside of that has been reddit since like 2011.
I haven’t done this in a while, but you might want to check out the community controller configs. I had a 3rd party controller with a few buttons that steam couldn’t detect, but someone had uploaded a config that worked perfectly for it.
Wow, I had no idea. They really didn’t think much of American audiences back then did they?
I do think it’s helpful to ensure that companies feel comfortable spending money on development, but it stifles innovation and progress when we can’t open up the playing field after they’ve already made boatloads of money.
How many medications out there are still printing money when a generic would cost like 5 cents? How many creative projects get censored or scrapped because they too closely resemble some megacorp’s IP? How many technologies are out there that can’t be openly built upon because some company owns the rights and wants to milk it for another decade?
It holds back innovation
It was a good time, and I’m glad I played it that way rather than the DS remake. It was HARD.
Final Fantasy 1 was so fun! I didn’t have it as a kid, but I bought it on the Wii virtual shop back when that was a thing.
It was rough to get through because I didn’t know what I was doing (had a bad party comp, I think), but I somehow managed to beat it. Still one of my favorite gaming experiences.
Hey, does that mean we’re finally googleable? That’s pretty cool.
