Recommended system requirements for this one?

I wouldn’t trust unity if they were actually paying me to develop using their software. I would be too scared they’d fuck the contract and start paying me in bird shit.

It doesn’t suck and just works. Really well customizable and adblocking/ security is better than what chrome has turned into. Chrome used to be decent but is garbage now. I’d rather use edge before chrome.

I’m now actively paying attention to the game engine again and avoiding unity. It’s now like Denuvo.

This is mafia/mob-like like behavior from unity. It’s a shake down, pure and simple.

Lose your business now or lose it later, what’s the difference? Unity is basically behaving like the mafia. The installation fee is protection money. Fuck 'em.

This isn’t a normal scenario/ situation. This is an all hands on deck emergency, worst case situation. You cannot continue with unity under any circumstances. This is a pivot moment with unity endangering your whole existence, as well as showing their obsolescence. Anybody that sticks with unity now is setting themselves up for failure. This installation charge isn’t just bad for developers/ businesses, but consumers as well and consumers will need to avoid unity games. Unless you’re a dev or really into gaming, most people probably couldn’t even tell you what a game engine is or what their favorite games’ are built in. This will now force them to be conscience of unity games and to avoid them.

Rip the band aid now. Stop all development in unity. Unity has shown that it’s obsolete.

Not sure about costs in this shitty ass economy but there’s going to be delays up the wazoo now.

It’s time to Unite and go on strike against Unity. It’s no longer a feasible platform. Port to any other method or engine that is possible. Honestly, it sucks developers, publishers, the whole ecosystem, but we’ll all be fine and stronger if Unity is no longer capable of holding us hostage and for ransom.

I’m pretty sure flight attendants were planning on staging their own strike even before the WGA/SAG strikes. It just so happens they coincide.

I hope they strike until the end of time, both because I’m in favor of them getting amicable terms and conditions (i.e. pay/wages, etc.) and because I have huge ass backlog that I need to get through.

The first game in ages where it actually feels like the company/ developers actually put in effort and released a complete product. It’s not that hard to understood why consumers are flocking to it. People are just fed up with the garbage EA and ubisoft have been putting out. Honestly, I’d be fine with ubisoft dissolving and going out of business.
