yes this needs details.

I just converted my other brother the other day. atomic distros are great when you are the family tech support guy. Made an ssh only user on all the family computers so I can remotely deal with most of their problems without having to actually touch it or remember their login details.
I was wondering how arbitrary code execution was harming pirates… I’ve been watching too much any% speedrunning
Oh man I destroyed 3 of those dance mats. we rewired them to use for stepmania (pc hatswitch had simultaneous opposite direction problems back in the day) and taped them to the ground and gave them a real beat down. The layers actually wore down from trying the pledge furniture polish and socks footslide technique which I quicly hated as damaging. I have now ancient solid decks that could handle it but I still hold a grudge against sliding.
LOL I used to hide cash there
Oh I didn’t know about this. Is there an easy way to check if the current setup has proprietary firmware in use?
If there’s nothing wrong beyond the hideous consmetic damage sure.
Some distros have some very specific images like this one that I would install if I had the same computer:
That’s too bad. From what I can find online there are a bunch that have in kernel drivers but I can’t personally vouch for any of them. I haven’t seen any reports of linux compatible usb bt dongles above 5.0 so far but that might just be Google’s fault for making internet searching garbage.
watch the reason be epic and/or gog not wanting their stores to be thought of as ‘junk’
what kind of computer? does it have wifi already? Its not usb but the ones I always get are the intel wifi+bt units. I bought a few wifi6e + bt5.2 recently each in different form factor for my laptop, desktop, and steam deck. apart from the deck which is soldered on and I don’t have time for yet, the pcie and m.2 wifi and bt combo cards work out of the box on bazzite.
If its a laptop or desktop that has antenna on the motherboard io panel then it probably has an m.2 card that can be swapped for a bt integrated one and you could jump to wifi 6e at the same time. or wait for wifi7 and whatever bt version will exist then I guess.
I bought the parts for that, install pending time off.
I always felt uncomfortable with how you see a terrorist in game but on the other end of the internet was another person seeing themselves as the americans.
very “you will kill who we tell you to kill and not worry about it”
The pawns were so dumb but weirdly endearing
yeah I’ll stick to the other way around
I collected some disc copies of games, I put on my fancy gloves, carefully opened the overwrap, brought out the disc and cloned it to my pc, then put everything back together in a laminar flow table. fast forward a couple years and I hear about disc rot. I checked a few and they were fucked. checked the rest they were fucked. put them back as before and sold them as unopened to a collector because I’m just an asshole that way. actually I was desperately broke. actually I still am FML, dunno karma?
Anyway retro gaming, or anything else in life really, will find a way to fuck you over.
thats literally the second easiest stealth section in the past 2 decades of gaming.
There are some out there that are actually so infuriatingly bad due to shitty programming and npc noticing you is rng and skill isn’t an option.
its kinda funny because it looks dated even with the graphics overhaul in mcc but the gameplay is still solid, and there are older games that still look as good as release day but the mechanics are kinda rough. And some that always were and always will be perfect.
I feel like at this point retro is more of a style though. Graphics can only get so realistic and anything made to peak modern visual standards will be harder to differentiate from previous decades as time goes on, if we don’t all die from pollution and war and other shit. Oh fuck, maybe retro will become anything that features a non-destroyed climate/environment in a world where children will be born having never seen what earth once was.
not many people are likely to have one but tiny cameras in various forms are quite cheap.
ryujinx literally minutes before it was shut down. on steam deck at least it seems impossible for the audio to stay in sync and occasionally you have to pause emulation and resume after the sound stops to bring it back in sync. Maybe a spot of lag or frame drop when some things happen for the first time, but mostly stable 30fps. I’ll probably switch to desktop once I have space to set it up if the audio desync doesn’t happen there.
