Should have put a better GPU in your PS5 obviously

Name a good game by a Microsoft studio from the last 5 years that isn’t by Obsidian or someone who used to work at Obsidian
Is it contractually obligatory for UE5 devs to blame the people buying their product for the shit performance?
Official game of /c/fuckcars
Obsidian seem to be doing better than before they were acquired too
TFW instead of a console and VR headset you get Valve’s worst reviewed game since Artifact
What’s the current version of SteamOS
A home console only slightly more powerful than the Deck (as reported) would be a flop. It would be less powerful than the PS4. People will be plugging this into 4k 120hz TVs.
I’d be very surprised if it was a home console unless they have some kind of magic upscaling they’ve built into Proton.
This is out?
I bought one of their phones after how much people rave about them. Cost me more than the equivalent Samsung or iPhone. It was a piece of shit with a shockingly mediocre camera considering Sony make the fucking sensor. Only good thing about it was the power button thumbprint scanner and even that’s a monkey’s paw feature because Sony having the patent is stopping anyone else doing it.
You make a great point there, Prodeus is funny in that respect because it’s heavily, heavily inspired by Brutal Doom (like deliberately going for the pixelated sprites + HD level geometry dichotomy) but they didn’t really take any of the lessons from what that guy did to make the Doom enemies smarter and more fun to fight.
I was disappointed by Prodeus. They’ve got a good foundation in terms of gameplay, the map design is unbelievably good, and the aesthetic is genre leading - but the enemies all just stand in one place and the gunplay just doesn’t feel as good as other boomer shooters. It doesn’t matter how amazing the former is if you haven’t nailed the latter.
I’d be keen to see them keep working on those areas but I think they’re more interested in making it a platform for modding, which is cool but kind of pointless if the game itself isn’t tight.
Don’t forget Amid Evil and Cultic, they’re probably the 2 best boomer shooters.
Valve are releasing a self contained PC with the wireless built in.
Probably in 10 years when 4k per eye displays cost $2.50 and Wifi 9 can transmit DisplayPort 3 with low latency.
As long as it’s wireless it doesn’t need to be standalone. How many VR users take their HMD outside their home?
Mozilla’s primary revenue is from Google, because Google doesn’t want Chrome to be broken up by the FTC. Same reason Microsoft kept Apple afloat in the dark times before Jobs returned.
It’s dumbed down but sailing into the wind is possible IRL. By keeping your sail at an angle the wind pushes you sideways, but your keel is kept in place by the water, so your ship moves forward.
There’s no shares to buy, it’s a private company. We’d have to convince Gabe Newell to sell it.
But if your game runs like shit on the top of the line consoles too, then maybe the problem is the developer.
Only in PC gaming can they get away with blaming the customer.
