I’m too used to using notepad++ that I would rather use Kate than learn how to properly use vi(m).

Endeavour also gives DE options during installation.
I wasn’t referring to games being shut down. I was referring to how denuvo stops you from playing the game if it has issues phoning home for whatever reason. My hatred for denuvo began when it locked me out of monster hunter for 24 hours the one time I wanted to come back to playing it.
I wonder if they would still hold that opinion if they were locked out of a game they paid $70 for, while the ones that got it for “free” can play it without any restrictions. Piracy is just as much a service issue as it is a money issue.
Have you seen what Microsoft has been up to with Win11? KDE is basically windows if it chose not to shove ads directly into the user’s eyeballs.
I got lucky that almost all the multiplayer games I play run under Linux. There’s only one or two that I would need Windows for to play again.
You can also try ryujinx if you can’t get yuzu to work.
Making it easier is not the problem. The problem is having the search function actually find the messages you are looking for. The biggest problem I have with it is that word order matters too much. “Keyword1 keyword2” will find different messages than “keyword2 keyword1”. Not only that, but it will also search for different variations of the word with no way of preventing it from doing it. If there is a solution for these problems, then no one is taking about it.
Until discord makes their search bearable to use, I would still rather use an actual forum over discord. It’s so irritating when I have to perform multiple searches to look up conversations people had on a topic because the stupid search function takes word order into consideration for what messages to show you. And since discord servers aren’t open to search engines, those can’t be used to alleviate that issue.
Same, hearing about all the changes that Microsoft tried to push into Win11 was what convinced me that I needed to switch.
I’ve heard a lot of talk in the linux community about linux mint being a good beginner distro.
If you don’t rock and stone, you ain’t coming home.
Haven’t heard about Notepadqq. How different is it from Kate?
