The rest of you are all cowards. I use my real name on here.
I was just making a joke. I actually wrote this comment before I read your other comment lol.
People downvoting your comment are the kids back in middle school who reminded the teacher about the homework

This is the kind of self promotion that Reddit once thrived upon and which made it an interesting place to find user made content. It’s fine.
All of those “no self promotion” rules seemed like they came into existence to combat spammers… but really in the end, it just turned into a way to clear the subreddits and make advertising space for big brands instead of the little guys.
Any phone, it doesn’t matter. If you want to make it kid safe, get that porn viewing alert app that Mike Johnson and his kid use so you both know when one of you is crankin it.
Big if true
I agree, it’s not very good.
They shoulda been really cheeky and called it the quadruple-I game awards. Missed opportunity.
You can now drink mayonnaise
Oh thank god, been waiting for this
Looks like you have a brand new dedicated porn viewing machine
Comments section is pretty clear who read the article and who is only reacting to the title.
Helldivers 2 has weeks long campaigns where the entire playerbase has to defend certain planets. The “GM” keeps a close eye on progress of this event and manually adjusts it to make sure the campaign doesn’t complete too soon.
There isn’t some poor motherfucker staring at a screen watching the progress of each individual match spawning more bad guys whenever they feel like it.
Some manga publishers just want to watch the world burn
Lol all good. Hobby is just the general term for something you like doing. It can be as hardcore as climbing Mount Everest or be as casual as “I bought a guitar 5 years ago and I try to play it once in a while.”
The word you are looking for is “hobby.”
P5R is mildly tempting even though I also own it for PS4. I think I will pass on it until it goes under $20. I also want to hang onto my gaming cash in case Persona 3 Reloaded ends up being legitimately good.
It will be another dark day on the internet if Youtube finally blocks out the last adblockers.
As a small channel owner, there’s no other viable place to share my hobby content. Up until six months ago, I could count on Reddit for 150-200 views, now it is 15-20. If Youtube finally goes full enshitted, there go the rest of my viewers and I may as well just give up making stuff.
They are both bad for different reasons.
Kbin has uncontrolled spam because the administrator, Ernest, likes to go AWOL for months on end and wants to do everything completely by himself. Currently, Kbin.social has been unreachable for 4-5 days - whether that’s because something legitimately broke or Ernest pulled the plug on things we don’t know because he actually hates communicating with people. He could gain so much more goodwill from the community if he just left a one sentence post saying “I am still alive, I am still updating things, be patient.”
Lemmy World sucks because the admins suck, the moderators suck, and the majority of the userbase don’t seem to be interested in creating quality content. Most of the people there are only there because their Reddit app doesn’t work anymore.
