The INVESTORS showed up…
You know, you’ll go through life a lot happier if you stop restricting yourself from experiencing something just because it’s a popular thing.
Arceus was a very fun game in a very ugly package. I had a blast playing it and I was so hyped for what it would bring to S/V.
S/V were FUN games and I liked many things about it so much more than Sword and Shield. But many of the QOL features from Arceus wasn’t in S/V was, frankly, a huge disappointment. The fact that Tears of the Kingdom managed an open world larger than Pokemon with so much more polish and refinement is ridiculous. Gamefreak NEEDS to increase the size of their dev teams. Or work with another studio. Or just give the game creation rights to another studio. ANYTHING to give Pokemon the love it deserves.
Yar har fiddly dee. Do what you want 'cause a pirate is free.
As “wrong” as stealing is, I find it more wrong that companies can keep fucking us over like this without reprimand. Triple A games are becoming more and more difficult to justify the new $70 price tag.
Kingdom Hearts comes to mind here…
And watch as other regions don’t get this :(
Man if Neopets can recover from the stagnant maintenance mode they’ve been in for YEARS at this point, I would be happy. I haven’t done anything on that site since I was a kid, but it’s always been a fun thing to remember.
Last time I posted this hot take, reddit absolutely buried me. But hey, I stand by my gaming opinions!
Mine? Mystic Quest was fine. It was a fine game. Was it amazing? No. Easy as heck but the charm and personality of the game is just so great. The music slaps, the world is fun even if it is restricted to linear paths. People treat it like it’s the most brazen insult to JRPGs. It’s just not true. It’s a perfectly average game that is a fun beat-it-in-a-day game.
A lot of people misinterpret the infamous laughing scene. They think it comes out of left field and is out of place… And that’s what it’s trying to do. It’s supposed to be awkward. Tidus is trying to help Yuna release her anxiety by goofily laughing like a lunatic. Does this make the voice acting suddenly great? Nah not really. Also FFX’s combat is the best. Being able to see who’s turn is next, as well as which abilities might delay a turn. Really fun!
They… did… But every quest is “Go to specific type planet, find X amount of clues, then go do special boss battle.”
The RS Wiki is amazing and should be the shining example for wikis. As shitty as Jagex can be, they did a really awesome thing to help keep it going.
You can’t tell me who or what I can or can not blow. In fact, I’m going to blow into my switch right now just to spite you!
Even the first episode of the game was rife with incestuous undertones. I fully support the dev in their art, but it’s hard to say it’s not an incest game.
People just need to grow up. Weird things happen all the time. We can’t be puritanical and pretend it doesn’t exist.
